Staff were very nice and the location was convenient for restaurants and beach

Uncomfortable sleeping at night because the room was really hot and we were woken by the church bells every half hour.

Nice staff, clean room with sauna and a balcony, good location close to the city and the beach, good breakfast, free parking.

The breakfast space is quite small, it is difficult to get your food especially when it gets crowded. It could be organised differently to make it easier. A bit pricey.

The breakfast buffet was very good. The location is also very good.

It was a bit cold in the apartment during the first days. There was no decoration in our room (maybe because we brought our dog) and the couch was not comfortable to sit on. We had a view to the parking lot which was of course not attractive. And it was not possible to get a room higher up (we were on 1.floor) where it probably would have been much nicer (because of our dog).

The welcome and friendliness of the staff - reception as well as restaurant. Prime location at the end of the main pedestrian street and close to the beach. Good parking facilities and WiFi

we booked “comfort” room, it looked more modern on the web site. we lived in a small building near the main one. it was indeed a comfortable stay, the room was clean, with a lot of light and nicely decorated. located in the city center, close to the shops, restaurants and bike rental. free parking spot was highly appreciated. good mattress and pillows. very friendly reception staff.

Good location. Large room and bathroom and a balcon with a great view. There's a small fridge, which is very useful during summer and a kettle for coffee/tea as well. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast is ok and it includes local produce, such as cheese.

People working in the hotel were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Great breakfast, very good location in the middle of De Koog and walking distance the beach. Very good sauna in the room.

The view. It is very unfavourable to have a terrace which goes directly to the trash containers and to the back alley where the kitchen supplies are wheeled through- noisy and a nuisance. And for 150 Euros a night this is "view" is not acceptable. The quality of the beds have large room for improvement e.g. too soft and no very back friendly. A double bed would have been appreciated instead of two single beds who kept creeping apart.

Perfect position in the city center and 5 mins walk to the beach. The staff was really welcoming and available for any request. We were with our dog and we felt like being at home. The room was pretty big and really beautiful...and also with a small private sauna...simply amazing 👍👍👍👍. I'm planning to go back to texel and for sure I will book again at Tesselhof hotel. Super suggested 👌

Excellent central location in De Koog and very helpful staff who spoke good English . Readily accessible ( 200m for bus stop for ferry bus service ( Line 28)). A gluten free breakfast was requested and provided and the breakfast offering was generally excellent with a good range of hot and cold food

The bedroom was a good size but was stuffy and lacked air conditioning. It was also very close to a chiming church clock which would disturb light sleepers. Bath towels were thin.

Room was spacious and very quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was great, the location was perfect, just off the main drag— which shuts down early evening on weekdays. We also enjoyed the foosball and ping pong

This is my second stay in this hotel. The location is perfect, room is very cozy, people at the reception are nice and helpful. Breakfast - coffee from machine is meh but there is an option to buy a normal one. Small freshly made pancakes are the best. When I go on Texel again, I book this hotel, it is great option.

At night no elevator available, only stairs. Coffee included in breakfast is bad, sad but true Church may freak u out at midnight if you’ve fallen asleep earlier 😅
