This is a boutique hotel, at a remote but beautiful place. Converted from an old, not very big "chateau".
That was exactly what we wanted to experience/explore with my daughter, for overnight stay on the way back from cote d'azur to switzerland. Dinner was very good, and the people are lovely.
You wouldn't go there with the expectations from a city hotel..
Bed, and bed set could/should be more comfortable.

Rooms are so beautiful and comfortable the whole building looks like a museum, wonderful ambience and view is breathtaking
There is a WiFi issue, we had problem paying, and we didn't get apologies for this. Dining is a bit overpriced for this quality.

A fabulous place. A real French château right out off a picture book. Great views, lovely gardens and a fantastic pool. Tranquil, comfortable and a great view across the valley. Friendly staff - apparently parents and children- and a great dinner. Nice, big suite, with a balcony, great view and a big comfortable bed.
Though it's a fabulous place, there is room for improvement. It would be nice when someone takes your orders for drinks and hand you over a towel when your lying at the pool. Our suite was big and had a nice bed but I absolutely missed coffee and facilities. Pretty much every 3+ star hotel has this nowadays, so I would certainly expect that in a château. Also: only one power socket and that's really too little in this era of rechargeable phones, tablets and more. One more thing: It's a special place, so you pay, but 5 euros for a simple cup of tea is just too much.

Wifi was a bit problematic in the room and at the pool nothing
Breakfast was a bit sober, dinners were excellent

It was quite an experience that made you feel like a queen. The rooms were spacious, clean and practical, the interior was upscale, friendly staff, great pool, beautiful view, outdoor dining , a huge garden property to walk around in and explore. T
That we only stayed one night! Sound proofing was not that good, i.e. being able to hear the toilet flush in the room next to yours.

Hosts are quite lovely and attentive, welcoming. There service overshadowed a bit by what was a much more robust property in former times, now in the twilight of its life. The conference renovated, much newer (we did not use this area but toured) is superior condition for events, weddings. The main chateau upper floors with many rooms is a standard hotel layout with central hallway and doors. Walls are a bit thin as toilet rooms adjoin and easily heard noises through walls.
Property, groundskeeping is a bit tired as are bathrooms. The paved front drive, a former grassed area I guess obfuscates what could be a stunning valley view with uneven, undulating paver stones in what I would describe an attempt to utilize space for outdoor events. Completely depends on your intended use of the property, for example if you had 250 persons at round top tables for dinner it would be perfect. For the atheistic of valley view its not.
The architecture of the chateau is a mini-Loire valley style is not consistent to the Gerosie Maison styled event space. Both beautiful, just different in very close proximity to one another on a sloping hillside. The pool area was very large and well kept, views are killer and natural environment lovely. Missing on the landscaped terraces are vignettes of comfortable sitting chairs, loungers so couples can spread out in private natural setting with wine and trifles. It appears there may have ben farm animals at one time, but none seen for those looking for that appreciation.
Our room was quite large but missing opportunity to arrange comfortable sitting chairs to lounge enjoy, look out the window, the front valley views from the windows overlooking the pool. Tubs are lined with retrofit kits and tile older, so not luxurious to todays standard.
judging by the size and orientation of the restaurant indoor eating area this once was a restaurant led property. This is likely its best use, versus a resort styled property. The rear chateau space was planted lovely, highly sloped but not in a way where many guests could utilize.
