Nothing - everything exceeded expectations

It was a wonderfully equipped en suite room, with microwave, coffee making equipment etc, enclosed by a verandah 2 sides, upstairs in a large Queenslander style house. It is in a lush tropical garden. We were able to sit on our own verandah to eat breakfast, even seeing wallabies in the vacant area next door. The breakfasts were superb with a wonderful choice. Deb is a very friendly and helpful hostess and went out of her way to make us comfortable and help us with our return journey to Townsville. We hope we will be able to return to stay there one day.

There was nothing we disliked! It is a 10 minute flat walk to Horseshoe Bay, only 2 blocks from the bus stop.

Breakfast was superb, a feast. It had a wonderful friendly atmosphere and the host was only too happy to help in any way. True value for the money. We will recommend and also return.

Facilities in the room were excellent. Location was great. Deb was very obliging and helpful and very knowledgeable about local eateries. Breakfasts were outstanding.

Everything was exceptional. Our one regret was that smoking was allowed on the balcony outside the individual rooms and we had chain smokers next door for a couple of the days we were there, ending in us not using the balcony as much as would have wished.

We absolutely loved having so many options for breakfast. Jess being vego was very happy with the variety of choices. It was so nice to go and stay at an actual Bed and Breakfast, Airbnb has taken some of the charm away from many stays with self-serve breakfasts and often no interaction with the host. True North was a rare example of a true BnB, which was refreshing. The location was perfect, next to the Koala sanctuary and pub, and only a 5 minute walk from Horseshoe Bay. Would stay again.

Not sure I can honestly think of anything negative about our stay. Perhaps some pedals bikes would have been nice to borrow so we could ride to the beach and back.

Bed was super comfy and the breakfast was delicious. Deb was an excellent host.

It was very comfortable, central location and we were made to feel at home and breakfast was timely and excellent.

Breakfasts were outstanding.
