Über diese hausUnterkunft
Bright and airy bungalow in a quiet road in historic Totnes. Sleeps 3.

Excellent place to stay to visit Totnes and surrounding area
Excellent accommodation, everything has been thought of plus lots of little extras that make this a home from home. The welcome pack of milk, fruit, biscuits, wine etc was a lovely thought and much appreciated.
Ian was also really helpful with local knowledge when we needed it. The back garden and private parking are definite plus points, especially as parking is not easy in Totnes itself.
The bungalow is a 10-12 minutes walk into Totnes which is a wonderful, friendly town with lots to see and do. Plenty of lovely restaurants to eat at plus lots of history and character which we loved. It is also a great base to see the surrounding area. We felt very at home here and could happily have stayed longer.
We definitely recommend the Round Robin trip as it is a lovely day out for all the family.
We would highly recommend Ian's bungalow to anyone looking for self catering accommodation in the area.

Home from home
We visited Devon for a family wedding and stayed in Ian's bungalow for a week. It was ideally located, very peaceful and only a short walk to Totnes town centre, supermarkets, restaurants etc. It was lovely to find a welcome basket with milk, fruit, wine, biscuits after a long journey. There were also lots of other items to make the stay easy, kitchen items, toiletries etc. Local bus right outside the door, we decided to take the Stagecoach bus (£5 for a day ticket) to Torquay, Brixham - take a break from driving and see the area. Had a really good holiday and Ian was a great host and would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation.

An excellent place to stay

We have just returned from a great holiday. The bungalow has recently been carefully refurbished and is very well equipped with lots of little extras to make you feel at home. It is modern, clean and comfortable. We stayed in November and were lovely and warm.
It was a very nice gesture to find wine, fruit, biscuits and even milk in the fridge. These were particularly welcome after a long drive. Totnes town centre is within easy reach by foot, as is a riverside walk. "Bob the Bus" will stop outside and was particularly useful in avoiding parking in town. Thank you Ian and Jo for a very comfortable holiday.

Quality hospitality
Very welcoming home. Sets the bar for “sparkling clean”. V generous pantry items. Comfortable. Location is in a suburb across the river but still only 10 mins walkto town centre. Suggestion: follow Ian’s directions. Satnav takes you into wrong street. We had difficulty locking the front door but you just turn the handle up... that is a locking mechanism, then lock with the key. This accommodation offers quality hospitality. We hope others enjoy their stay, as we did. Thanks Ian.

The bungalow was fantastic. Very clean, well equipped and perfect location.
We were made to feel very welcomed upon our arrival. The bungalow is a good size and ideal for a family stay. Very clean, well equipped and very cosy. It was a nice gesture to find milk in the fridge, wine and biscuits on the dining table and many leaflets on the activities and attractions in Devon. The area is quiet and friendly...we had a very relaxing stay and all the main attractions in the Torbay and surrounding areas are very accessible from here. Would definitely look to come back and stay here.

Great property in fantastic location
We have returned from a lovely 4 night stay over the Easter bank holiday. Property is lovely and clean a real home from home. Lovely and quiet neighbourhood. It’s also fantastically located just 2 minutes from supermarket (Morrison’s) and high street. Great for visiting Torquay, paignton and local attractions. Owners are lovely and it was nice to arrive to a bottle of wine a lovely card and Easter chocolates. We will definitely be back.

A wonderful stay in Ian's home in Totnes
I have just spent an extended stay with my two adult daughters (6 weeks in total) and I would thoroughly recommend this comfortable, modern house within a ten minute walk in to town. Ian is a lovely, warm host who is around if needed but unobtrusive otherwise. We have been here in December and January and the house has remained warm and cosy throughout all weathers! The area is residential - and really quiet, with a corner shop close by.
The house has been recently refurbished so everything feels clean, bright and modern. The kitchen has everything we have needed whilst here and the bedrooms have been spacious for the three of us. Ian and Jo kindly left some very welcome gifts and all the basics (cooking oil, salt & pepper, tea, coffee, cling film etc as well as some toiletries) in the kitchen and bathroom which was really useful and meant we could settle in straightaway. There are books, games and information on the area.
Totnes is a great location for exploring the area. Dartmouth, Brixham and Torquay are really close and Salcombe, Exeter, Plymouth and Dartmoor are all within 30-40 minutes. Totnes, itself, is great to wander around with lots of cafes and independent shops. From the house there are walks along the River Dart and the countryside surrounding the town.
I would happily recommend this house to family and friends.

Cosy and well located house with all the comforts of home
We rented the property to spend Christmas with my elderly parents. It was warm, well equipped and only a short, if hilly, walk from the pretty town of Totnes. Ian and Jo put up and decorated a real Christmas Tree for us and left fruit, wine, chocolates and milk as a welcome.
We loved spending Christmas in Totnes with its quirky shops, restaurants and pubs. And this property is the ideal place to do it!
I am sure this will be the first of many trips!
