Unique, full of art with fabulous hot pool in the garden. Breakfast was amazing. A wonderful end to our trip to Iceland.

Very good stay at guesthouse 1x6. The hosts were friendly and able to give advice on travelling to Reykjavik and where to visit. The breakfast was delicious. Highlight was the outdoor hot spring pool which was a great way to spend my first night in Iceland!

Where do I start! Yuki & Andi are the most amazing hosts and go so far above and beyond in everything they do. Following a flight cancellation, my wife, 2 kids and I were “fortunate” enough to get stranded in Iceland for an additional 5 days, due to the heavy snow and high just prior to Christmas day. I do use the word “fortunate”, as Andi & Yuki took such good care of us. Their immediate thoughts and focus was on the wellbeing of their guests, during a time of massive uncertainly due to the deteriorating weather conditions and road/airport and transport closures. We could not be more grateful to them for their kindness and support. As for the property, it was beautiful and we were so pleased to “be stuck” there, and not at a larger commercial hotel. The rooms, lounge and other areas are very well maintained and we felt so at home. The Geothermal pool in the garden was wonderful, and almost as good as Andi’s breakfasts. I honestly could not recommend Andi, Yuki and their guesthouse more. We will be back in the summer and can’t want to be back with them again to reflect on our crazy winter break.

Our son missed his connection in Rekyavik and had to spend 24 hours in Iceland. I reserved a room for him at Guesthouse 1 x 6 because of its excellent reviews and proximity to the airport. Andi picked him at at the airport and returned him there the next morning at 5AM for a very reasonable price. Andi's friendliness, reactivity and desire to help us out as much as possible turned a bad situation into an interesting adventure. We are very grateful to him!

Absolutely everything! The decor, the room, the thermal pool, the coffee. Most of all, the lovely people who run the guesthouse who have a unique talent for making you feel at home immediately. We can't wait to come back.

Superb location on Reykanesbaer, very close to the airport, perfect for early flights. Very comfortable bed, shared bathroom was very clean. Friendly hosts, lots of communication beforehand.

Hands down the best breakfast we had in all of Iceland. A completely unexpected bonus. Served up with a side of amusing and interesting stories from our host. A perfect location for either a first or last day as it is close to the airport and Blue Lagoon.
