Location was good for our onward journey

Arrived to find place in darkness, reception vacant, Christmas tree still up and lit, phone in metal case outside to contact the girl on duty. Place vacant cept us. Sheets very very uncomfortable. Same girl at breakfast in the early morning, coffee and waffles sad! Won’t recommend and won’t be back. Stayed at great hotel in town on return trip for only $20 more

This location is near the ferry from st john to digby. And its a good value.

Most of their guests are there because of the ferry from St John to Digby Nova Scotia. Guests have to leave the hotel by 7:45am. Their bkfst doesn't start til 8am. They don't even have coffee....not good I was checking in at 7pm (with prior notice). It took 10 minutes to for anyone to come to the desk. She never said hello, smiled or made eye contact. I felt bad disturbing her.

we were not able to get the door open and the lady wouldn’t come to see why we couldn’t get it open so we canceled it but they would not give us back the money we paid for the room

Breakfast was minimal

When I sat on the bed with my back against the fake head board the bed came away from the wall.

Breakfast was meager. Bread, bagels and a toaster. Machine that had waffle mix in it and a machine that others had difficulty using. (I didn't use waffle maker). Boiled eggs. Coffee and tea. Nothing fancy. Eggs, toast and coffee. Easy breakfast. Parking was in front of room.

The rooms and property needs a slight facelift. Clean enough room with a general feeling of comfort. Been in much pricier hotels and have had much worse rooms.

The location was perfect: right off highway 1 but in a quiet residential neighborhood with a view of a pretty pond and wetlands. The room was huge with 2 queen beds, dining table and chairs, a lovely desk, fridge, microwave, large beautifully planned bathroom and closet, and an entryway with a handy sofa table. Attractive colors and decor made it seem cozy and homey. The breakfast was hot and plentiful, served in a large, homey dining room. I was very happy there was a guest lsundry. I loved being able to park right outside our door. The staff was friendly, welcoming and very helpful.

The rooms were basically clean, but the motel could stand a good deep cleaning and a bit of preventive maintenance as well as some consistent repairs.

Location was great. The breakfast was ok. Nothing special.

Was really disappointed in the washroom area. The outside base of the toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. Was very noticeable, just seemed like nobody took the time to clean it.
