Super close to the beach and it was clean.
I got stuck in the elevator with my newborn for like 20 min. Staff was on it right away but it still took time to take me out! The sink drain didnt work so their was water accumulating they tried to unplug but no success offered to move us but we were only staying the night at that point.

Location was great, close to Hermosa Beach and to a lot of restaurants and stores. Trader Joe's and CVS are within walking distance (5 minutes). There are restaurants, Wells Fargo, and gas stations close by. Rooms and breakfast options are great. Rooms have a small balcony.
Staff was always very serious, very quiet, in general, this includes front desk staff and breakfast staff. They were helpful when I asked for help but always very serious. It makes one feel unwelcomed.
I love Hampton Inn's in general but the bad thing is always no microwaves in the rooms. Other than this, this Hampton Inn was just as great as all others.

varied breakfast and 5 minutes by car from the beach. they accept our furry friends without problem
on the first day of the stay I noticed that the coffee machine in the room was broken and asked for another one, the receptionist said she couldn't do anything and never replaced it, the minibar in the room did not freeze at all.

Great location for walking down to the beach and restaurants. There is a big supermarket (Vonns) and other stores just across the street, also Trader Joe’s just down the road.

Room good size and clean
Website advertisement stated there was a pool and there was no pool. Restroom shower water flows right to the walkway of room, my mother nearly took a fall. Parking not included in the price of room is disappointing. This is the first hotel I've stayed at and had to pay for parking per day.

no wifi, registered my daughter several times as a guest, paid for her parking-told front desk she would be joining me late Saturday evening and they still gave her a hard time when she arrived and almost wouldn’t let her in w/o a key but she needed to get the key & parking pass from front desk

It was convenient to the beach, town, and our daughter's apartment. Breakfast was always nourishing. Good decaf! Parking inside. Nice, hot shower and clean towels. Rooftop patio. Hermosa Beach itself is very photogenic, colorful, with things to do for all ages. Took us only 25 minutes to get to the Getty in Santa Monica on a Sunday.
No view from our room. Room was clean and well appointed. Room key didn't always work reliably. Hand sanitizer stand next to the elevator was full of garbage. Elevator door was rubbing against something when opening and closing. Price was steep. Long walk to the beach, especially coming back up the hill. View from the rooftop was blocked by many wires and houses/stores. We had a neighbor above us who was thumping like someone dropping heavy furniture. Not the hotel's fault, but surprised to hear the room above so clearly.
