The cabins were lovely, and the beach and view were fantastic.

The view was amazing. The place was cozy and clean. Staff was very accommodating. Loved to have access to the pool and hot tub. Mentioned it was out anniversary and received a complimentary bottle of red wine. :)

We didn't like the robes. The first ones we got in the rooms were very scratchy and short, like wearing an old waffle towel. The fluffier ones requested were somewhat better but still not luxurious and still towel material. This is a small thing but for me it's a let down and a deal breaker for a romantic getaway. If I'm going to pay top dollars for a place like this I expect to have a luxurious robe. Makes all the difference for me. I didn't bring my own robe because I was expecting and told they supplied good ones.... we would consider coming back with the kids but as a couple we will be visiting Pacific Sands in the future.

The cabins are well designed, cute—and simple. It’s right on Mackenzie Beach — which is gorgeous. the shared BBQs are huge, and top-notch too. The beds are comfy, and the bathroom is roomy and the locally-made bath products smell great.

The studio cabins are duplexes — and share a building with another space. In our case, some loud young folks just having a good time, LATE into the wee hours. The pool and hot tub, while well-maintained, had wet towels strewn around both times I visited, and I wish they’d been warmer / hotter. But they’re nice, definitely not gross—and good to have there.

Beachfront location: no TV was a bonus.

Next time we would like a cabin with a view of the ocean not the shrubbery. No early check in. The furniture was not very comfortable. The flooring was chipped. Having to do your own dishes when we left. Pool area was not overly inviting. The screen door did not work.

Staff was incredibly helpful through text messages. Making sure everything was to our satisfaction! Very friendly

Poor lighting for reading in the evenings. Bedside lights below bed rather above. Needs a large standing lamp or trilight.
