From the moment we arrived there was problems. We check in, get to the room and find our dead bolt lock on the door is broken. Also, the phone cord was ripped out from the phone and the wires showing (i have pictures to prove this). So my daughter and I go downstairs to the front desk, and the front desk rep (with the pony tail), advised us that they’re sold out and he could not move our room. So, we asked him if everyone checked in yet, everyone who specifically had our room type. He advised no. So we requested to switch our room. He then tells us that if he gives a room away, then he would have to send that guest (who didn’t check in yet) to another property, which was a lie. So he suggested we go back to the room and he’ll send someone up to fix it. We said no, we wanted a new room, because it smelled like mildew as well. He then said he can’t just give the guest who did not check in yet, our current room because the bolt was broken and phone didn’t work. But it was OK for him to suggest US keep the room, and not switch? Unacceptable. Then he says we don’t know how the process goes behind the scenes, which we do, because my daughter works for the Marriott. He FINALLY says “ok I’ll see what i can do”. We waited for 30 min, and we were finally able to switch to another room. The front desk rep was not very helpful in this process. We were only there for the competition, but other than that, I honestly would not suggest this hotel. Old and outdated. My other daughter who was actually in the competition, had ants in her bed and around the desk in their room. They switched them, only to find the key fob on the door died, and then they had to switch them again. Such a horrible stay.

Everything that we exoected was delivered. We had our complimentary drinks and ordered food from the Grill Restaurant rather than venture out in the rainy weather. Breakfast was wonderful with lots to pick from and the staff was very courteous and helpful.

The pool was not very clean which I can chalk up to the rainy weather but it also looked run down and in need of repair to the tiles and inside the pool. We had spotty cable service again probably due to the weather.

The breakfast was good! And nice view and location.

No hairdryer , phones weren’t working in the room. Room smelled sooo moldy, AC kept making a clicking noise.

Employees go above and beyond for the guest. My front desk associate upgraded my room and also was soooo professional and pleasant. Loved the customer experience. The room smelled like mold the rug was damp and there was a ceiling tile that almost fell on my head had it not put my hand up in room 425 bathroom to hold it and out it in place again.

It needs updating immediately it needs a hotel purification system for the air quality the pool had a merky yellow color indicating human piss and it smelled not clear at all dirty with leaves the jacuzzi same. Hotel’s breakfast was reheated had a horrible taste I am a cook for a living I know food when it’s not fresh…

Front desk clerk was nice

Old rooms, need updated, marks on wall, ripped bedding, dreary inside, bathroom door would get stuck so you couldn't get out, worst Embassy Suites I've ever stayed in.

Our room was dirty, There were hairs in the sink. The bath tub was dirty and grimy. Beds were not comfortable and the carpet was disgustingly dirty
