You can hear the train and breakfast should be a little later like 10 or 11 on weekdays and weekends but the breakfast was great it’s just people with kids get up early and by the time adults go at 9 their closing up

How accommodating the hotel was since I had a one year old staying with me and it was just us.

The smell of the bed smelled like wet mold , the lightbulb was stolen out of one of the lamps and my shades did not work on one side of the room.

The location is EXCELLENT!!!! Very clean and quiet.

I didn’t like the fact that I had to pay for parking and taxes. I didn’t find out until the end. This is an ideal place for my husband and I church function but we will reconsider another place that doesn’t require daily parking fees.

The staff were not pleasant at all. When you work with the public, you should have a smile on your face and be welcoming. The guy was rude at the reception desk when we were checking in. There was not a lot of option for breakfast. When we do family getaways, we have always stayed at Hampton inn. Thus was the worse one. In the bathroom, each time you open the tap, it smelled the the soured. All in all I was not impressed by the hotel.

The sheets had a foul smell to it and it was no soap (body wash) in the dispenser. The hallway and lobby had this strong perfume smell. It was so strong I got headache from it. I never have this problem when I stay here but this time was my least favorite I didn’t want to complain but I was a little upset I didn’t enjoy my time like I expected too.

Loved the breakfast and just the aura and vibe of the hotel view was amazing really enjoyed my stay.

Ok. Había animales como mini cucaracha. La cama cómoda pero si t movías el ruido demasiado no bueno para actividad en pareja. Cobran el parking y es algo q debería estar incluido en la estancia. El tv noo tenía servidor solo pantalla azul...

Room was clean and very comfortable. The entire hotel seemed clean. The breakfast they served was great. Staff was friendly. The water view was also great.

Pool wasn’t open, I wasn’t going to use it anyways but would be nice.

The staff was rude when we checked in at checkout guy was nice. Blinds broken in room . When trying to use the elevator in the morning the cleaning staff taking all the elevators to take their carts and supplies to other floors . Breakfast terrible. We usually stay at the The Wilshire Grand Hotel when we are town visiting daughter at college but decided to find something closer to her college believe me I would rather drive to Wilshire Grand hotel than to stay here ever again

I liked it was near where I needed to be

Evening/late shift hotel worker was rude. I’ve worked in customer service so I understand workers have bad days but the woman who was working Saturday night/early Sunday morning from 4/29-4/30 was rude to a lot of people and including my friends. My friends wanted to get some snacks after the concert we just saw. They wanted to use their credit cards. The worker says they can and proceeds to try to swipe. I guess the credit card machine was down and she said “you know what I don’t care anymore” and left a sour taste. Then later around 1am, I was waiting in the lobby for my Uber eats order. I was sitting on the couches and a man walks in needing help. Your employee didn’t acknowledge him and he assumed I worked there. I said I didn’t and then she piped up and said “I work here.” She saw him come in. Ignored him and let him ask a random guest (me) for help. It was really unprofessional.

Very friendly staff, nice hotel, but little bit worn out. However we had good stay and suggest other travelers if you are looking last minute stay nearbt New York, but in budget. We drove some 20 minutes from Manhattan by car - so perfect!

Please note that the parking is for additional money. Unfortunately when we arrived at the breakfast most of the food ended. The food area was messy as no employ who take care of it. Maybe we just got in wrong moment. However it will not stop us to stay again in the future. :)

The property was in a good location for what we needed. Something not to far from Red Bull Arena. It was a 20 min walk to the stadium and a 15 minute walk to the train station to go into New York. Also only 20 minutes to Newerk Airport.

The food was mediocre. And the price for snacks ridiculous.

The breakfast was ok. Was not hot by the time I brought it to my room.

request for early check-in was not accommodated despite informing about the flight landing early in the morning and traveling with a child. The reception at the check-in was rude. The cleaning staff did not want to help answer our questions, and didn't even try to know/help for what we were looking for. We are a vegetarian family but nothing at the included breakfast had vegetarian options. photos of the riverwalk on the website are very deceptive

The closeness to the train station

No coffee maker and when I went downstairs the person from the desk told me she will send me one but she did not.And the next morning I ask again for coffee maker and the person told me I she cannot give me and that there is coffee downstairs.We we're longing for coffee after wandering NYC but we cannot have it as no coffee maker at room 629

Size of the room made it very comfortable!!
