Les lits grincent beaucoup. Pas assez de matériel pour faire à manger le soir.

L'hôtel est propre et situé dans un quartier bien fréquenté. Les transports en commun ne sont pas loin et des restaurants se trouvent à proximité. Le petit déjeuner sous la forme de buffet, bien que peu diversifié, permet de commencer la journée dans de bonnes conditions.

Le WIFI au dernier étage se déconnecte régulièrement. De nombreuse douches, dans les sanitaires réservés aux hommes, ne comportent pas de porte et ne préservent pas l'intimité. Les chambres ne sont pas très bien insonorisée mais les gens étaient respectueux et je n'ai pas été gêné par le bruit.

El personal! Joaquín nos dio diferentes recomendaciones de lugares para comer y visitar. Además de un trato súper cercano y amable nos sentimos como en casa. Por otro lado, el edificio tiene mucho encanto y dispone de zonas comunes para trabajar o descansar. Repetiremos sin duda, 100% recomendable!!!

Das Hostel ist sehr schön gelegen und die Innenstadt ist durch die Nähe zur Bahn sehr schnell zu erreichen. Zimmer sind sauber und das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

The mattress could have been softer

The hostel is situated in a charming historical building within a stunning upscale neighborhood. I was captivated by the location, the hostel's ambiance, and the delightful complimentary breakfast it offered.

During my stay, I opted for a private room with a shared bathroom. While the room had a minimalistic design, I felt that it could have been improved with the addition of an extra nightstand, a conveniently located plug, and a bedside lamp. Having these amenities closer to the bed would have enhanced the overall comfort and convenience of the room.

Everything great! Only downside is the breakfast, there is coffee but not much more. Good facilities though if you want to make your own.

The space was welcoming, clean, and felt very safe. Very basic accommodations, but everything you need is available.

The room was clean, and the bed comfortable. The staff was very friendly. Overall, it was a good experience.

The room didn't feel very cosy, maybe because of the black paint. The bathroom was very far away from the room itself.

After going to sit in the dining room around 10 in the morning and being told it was closed, I noted that there is a sign outside the dining room stating the hours as being open at that time, and suggested they should write this on the sign, and asked if it is in fact closed at that time every day. For this the manager yelled "you're out of here!" and kicked me out. He even called the police which was totally unwarranted but ended up being helpful for me. All agreed that I never raised my voice, and he did not have any story for the police about any policy that I violated. He simply said he wanted me gone and never to return, he did not attempt to provide any justification or even claim that I did something wrong. He was simply having a bad day. Stay at Chicago Getaway Hostel if you want to be jerked around and treated like garbage! The management will use their power to ruin your day if they are in the mood. Better to avoid putting yourself at their mercy. Also - the showers are cold!!
