Love the location of this hotel. Nice bedding and clean. Front desk male was very nice and accommodating.

The air conditioner was broken in the room that I requested so we moved to another room. No extra amenities in this place and twice the price of what the hotel used to be. They used to have free breakfast and coffee in the lobby all day but no longer. Also charging $30 for parking.

The outdoor lounge was great, the location was great, parking attendants were greate.

Overall an old hotel with poor sound proofing. Our room had no view which was blocked by the patio. Further, this room was noisy and you could hear the hotel elevator pretty loudly. Further, unless you're on the 3rd floor, you're going to hear the people upstairs so check-in early (we didn't know you could) and get a 3rd floor room. I guess the room was too small for a second chair so to "relax" or kick back we were forced to go out to the lounge; another negative was the complete lack of self-serve parking, forcing you into the $30/day valet. The upshot was the parking lot was tiny so your car was nearly instantly available.

It a historic building close to a great tourist area

We were given a handicap room close to the entrance. We should have asked for a new room right away. We traveled with 2 teen daughters. A bathroom is difficult to share at that age and the bathroom was a bit difficult to use because it was a handicap room. For the cost, there isn’t much included but we were very happy with the location. The “extras” were very basic. For example, the toiletries were generic and you could buy snacks like sodas, cookies or chips at the desk. We asked for advise on some excursions we wanted to take. I wasn’t expecting a concierge but the staff at the desk wasn’t very knowledgeable about the area.

This is the first time we stay in a Tapestry Collection . We loved the property , great location . Very very friendly staff from front desk and valet parking. Rooms were clean spacious and have a nice decoration. Will stay here again for sure!! We loved Santa Barbara

A very modern hotel in the heart of Santa Barbara, within walking distance of bars and the promenade, while a little away from the bustling central street. The staff is very friendly and helps with all questions.

Bottles of water in the room are free of charge only if there is a club card, without a club card they charge $ 3. I think that for such a price, the rooms could provide their guests with water for free. There is no free parking, only paid parking of $ 30 per day.

Central location; the hotel's manager was quick to fix Booking.com's error in not sending our reservation to the hotel.

Booking.com didn't send the hotel my reservation. We had to call Booking.com to fix this problem taking over an hour.

The hotel is located within walking distance to shops, the beach, and the train station. There was a lovely porch on the second floor to enjoy coffee.

my credit card was wrongly charged at night by the hotel due to an error or hack. i was able to resolve the matter with some interactions with the credit card company. however, the hotel staff didn't seem to care about the matter at all. this was irritating because everything else was perfect and they were friendly.
