Great location that is a very short walk to the beach, some awesome cafes, pubs and restaurants and the train station.

Definitely showing its age and is in need of an update. For anyone even slightly interested in eating healthy, I would definitely recommend skipping the free breakfast as it was very poor quality and pretty much void of any nutrition.

Great location, walking distance to the beach, trendy restaurants and shops. Comfy room for the most part. Bathroom stocked with plenty of shower supplies. Have stayed here twice now. Staff and crew visible and available.

Very nice to provide a warm breakfast, basic choices of oatmeal, eggs, bagels, etc., no problem, except quality, taste could improve. Also can't draw curtains shut, they're nailed in place. Not sure if it's just the room I've stayed in.

Nice location in Solana Beach. No real complaints, enjoyed our stay.

Pretty solid hotel overall for what you pay. It could do with some maintenance and updates. We had a couple switches and such that didn't work in our room or a light out, but there were enough positives to make it minor. I'm not too fond of parking fees which was $16 a night. Seems like a little side hustle that is unneeded. Maybe add a few more dollars to the room if it is really a financial issue with the hotel? Just a thought.

The pool was closed and we were told it would of been opened Saturday yet it wasn't the whole weekend. Floors in cafeteria were dirty

I've stayed here before, and I'm happy to say they have done Renovations ! This holiday inn is very nice and comfortable, great location, right next to ocean. The beds are very comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast is good with many choices for breakfast.

I wish the parking price wouldn't keep going up. Wifi was spotty in some areas.

The location and the staff were amazing. said hello mrs hibbs every time I saw them. very helpful and friendly. Best motel breakfast I ever had.

The staff is nice and helpful. Breakfast is complimentary. Parking is free.

The hotel is clearly old. When I arrived (late) I had to wait to get my room because there was an issue with another room. But the receptionist was nice. Breakfast though complimentary is pretty limited. Overall overpriced.

Everything was perfect during our stay! The staff is great and personable. The location is excellent! I will make this my go to hotel when in Solana Beach!
