there wasn’t much about the property that was likable.

it is under construction, which I was never notified of. pool was under maintenance, no lights in the elevator, front desk lady at check in was not friendly at all and seemed very annoyed. our room smelled like mildew… our bedding was wet due to it being put on the beds still damp.

The property was under maintenance which should have been disclosed on the site. I wouldnt have paid this price for this hotel knowing this information. I had other options but spent a little more to go to this hotel knowing Holiday Inns are always great. The staff who checked me in were a little rude when I asked questions. The place was a mess so I didn't know what we were doing. Also they had problems getting my keys to work as well as with another guest. Which was inconvenient as I was with two young children and are room was on the 3rd floor. Very disappointed and my next trip to Ada I will probably not choose this hotel again. This trip was to move in my freshman at ECU so we will be visiting the city frequently.

We were not given the room we requested specifically, which was a King Suite with sofa bed, we were placed in a crappy room with a lot of chairs instead of sofa. Water was leaking from the back of bathroom faucet, so, that night we woke up to water flooded all over bathroom floor as it leaked out onto counter top & dropped to floor. The bathroom door wouldn't shut either.the next morning I called front desk & a ride young lady named "Jena" told me there was nothing they could do, I would have to wait until a week day to talk to manager. I told her no, that wasn't going to do! We needed this corrected immediately. She finally got us set up with the original room we had requested! Considering I was spending $110 per night basically, I don't see why I even had to go thru that experience! Poor customer service Jena! In addition to that on check out day, the same rude young lady told us that we must be reward members to do late check out. Very frustrated with this place!

The pool was being renovated and there was no information about that when we found the room online. We booked that hotel specifically for the pool, so that was a let down, and there was no discount or anything with that consideration.

They staff was very nice and polite When ask for extra items they were fast on request. Hotel was quiet and not loud like most. Beds were good but nothing like your own to sleep in. Ac works very good.

They were remodeling and the rooms that were available were not very clean to been redone, still ha paint spots in bathroom amd tub, ac when turned on blew dust black stuff out. They did move us to another room it was ok but had a smell to t, thank god I carry lysol with me. It could have been more cleaner considering the virus going on.
