Good and simple breakfast, nice and clean room and bathroom, good gym facilities

More of a drive through hotel than one for a longer stay in terms of breakfast and cleaning times, the cleaning people knocked early to clean and on the last morning we got woken up by knocking at 6:30am for someone to push through underneath the door our invoice (no need to knock for that); we shared a door with the room next door through which we heard the neighbours quite a bit.

We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but it looks like a nice setup.

We had to move to a new room because the safe was broken in our initial room. It would have been good to know that before we moved in the first time, since we did need use of one. But the reception desk employee was very nice and quick to help us make the switch.

We found what we needed at the Holiday Inn Express - Branford-New Haven: beds made daily, clean bathroom, quiet room.

Breakfast seems so ordinary! I prefer hardboiled eggs that are not shelled; all that is available are shelled hardboiled eggs. The food seems so un-nutritious, but that is like so many fast-food places. There was an attempt at having people separate recyclables from non-recyclables, buy people just used both containers for trash. I would like to see more sustainable food practices not only here but at all hotels. Single use plastic is awful stuff for the planet. Let's have some paper juice boxes, and cutlery from plant plastic or bamboo. Yes, I know it is expensive...
