Loved the access to the river for swimming and also the pool. Grounds are beautiful. Room very comfortable and nice.

No coffee available during the day. No free breakfast. For the price some extras would be nice. No notice until arrival that water would be turned off at 10:00 am the next morning for repairs. We were accommodated with a free late check out, but there should have been some notice at the time of booking.

Room windows were filthy and we told the staff and they were not cleaned during our 4 day stay. They were dirty from the outside and we were on the second floor so they may not have had the ability to get to them. The stairs going to the water were full of a 1/2 inch of mud. The railing around the concrete jettys was really tacky. The swimming area rope was broken and just laying in the water and had not been attended to in a very long time. There were no chairs by the fire area that they had. The site needs attention for how much they charge.

Breakfast was good but a little pricey !Also Would had liked if better if they had other options for drinks like orange juice , Apple juice, milk considering it was for the breakfast meal. Instead they had sodas and sweet teas!

I would had liked it better if they would had let us check in at 3:00 instead of 4:00.

Staff of hotel and booking.Com screwed up our reservation. They sold our room AFTER after paid in advance for a room with balcony and river view 6 WEEKS prior. They first asked us to move to a sister motel elsewhere, we refused and were given an inferior room at the same rate with the promise of getting a second night at our cost. They then locked us out of our room the 2nd day because we had”checked out”. Not true. No manager once contacted us to apologize and blamed it on “computer” this whole experience was disgusting. I believe that Marriott and booking.Com had a communication issue. And that we had to suffer for this error. If magement admitted their error and apologized this review would not be here.overall the Marriott management dropped the ball
