Front desk staff was great!

Pool clean room

Deirdre at the front desk was a SUPER star. We also loved the breakfast.

Our room was one that apparently had an optional connection to the neighboring room. There was zero soundproofing. Unfortunately, we had booked a king suite and we were informed the inventory had been messed up and we were put into a double room. Not receptions fault at all- she was great throughout- but disappointing that the system messed up somehow and we were in a VERY different room than booked.

It was very clean and welcoming.

The toilet made a horrible noise when you flushed it. We went to the beach and came back like 2 in the morning by the time we showered and got ready for bed it was like 330 we tried to get a late check out and it was denied.

The breakfast was excellent. Excellent location to the Richmond Temple.

The housekeeping staff was incredibly rude and infringed upon my privacy.

Breakfast was good, neatly presented. Coffee station gave good options re creamers.

Cut up melons like cantaloupe would have been a good option for fruit when in season. Bathroom lighting was poor. Difficult to put on makeup in there.

I was offered breakfast even after it was a few minutes past 10:00 am. Gentleman cleaning up went back into the kitchen to get me bagels and cream cheese and there was still eggs and sausage left. Great hosp.

The internet was horrible

Breakfast was good, good variety and kitchen staff went above and beyond to help anyway she could. Very clean hotel from the outside, lobby and room.

The ice machine on our floor did not work but we were made aware of that at check in

The night manager was very accommodating and friendly.

Clean, location and mostly the staff. Mat was excellent and the young lady when we checked out.

The breakfast was a good variety of hot and cold offerings, like scrambled eggs, mini quiches, a meat/protein. Breads/pastries were available as well as the cold cereals, waffles, yogurt, and juices.

There wasn't really anything I didn't like. The parking was plentiful and the property was very clean.

Breakfast

We were very disappointed with our stay and let the front desk know multiple times. I have been staying at Marriotts since I was a kid. Always had great experiences, but this was awful. We called prior to check in to see if the indoor pool was working and we were told it needed maintenance but that we could take a short walk through the parking lot to the holiday inn and use their pool. At check in I verified this information with the front desk and they assured me that we could use the holiday inn pool. I got my 3 and 5 year old ready for the pool and wrapped up in warm clothes and made the trip to the holiday inn. However, the pool at the holiday inn is outdoors so we looked like idiots standing there asking to swim. When we returned to Fairfield the receptionist knew exactly why we were upset. Like she knew that it was an outdoor pool but just didn't tell me at check in. We were told the GM told them to tell people to go to the holiday inn to swim. someone eat the desk said the pool won't be in operation for weeks. Then later that evening the elevator stopped working. Someone supposedly came to fix it, but the next morning it wasn't working again so I had to carry all of our belongings down the stairs with my 3 and 5 year old and elderly mother. When I explained to the front desk at check out how we were unhappy with our visit I was given an apology and told that the pool was now open. That did us no good as it was our check out and he was the same person to tell me just the night before that it wouldn't be working for weeks. No other accommodations were made or suggested other than an apology and saying it was their fault.
