The breakfast is sooo good, it’s like a breakfast buffet ! We enjoyed the red velvet mini waffles with the toppings and whipped cream!
The indoor pool was clean!

The Bed and sofa coach was super comfy!

Air condition was broke in room when we came back from dinner, staff said maintenance was off for the night and due to booking they didn’t have any other rooms available. Our bed was also broke in the middle. It was not a pleasant stay.

Breakfast was above expectation. Food was hot and fresh. Location was perfect for everything we needed during our stay in Birmingham.
No drink vending machine on our floor, but not a game-changer.

It was in a great location and very clean.

Location was excellent. I had a conference at the Winfrey but it was way more expensive and this place was so close and easy to get to. Plus, there's a Starbucks right next to it.

The staff was friendly and the hotel clean.
We booked a double queen suite which accommodates five but when we arrived they told us they had overbooked and the only room available was a king with a pull out. This room was smaller and cheaper but they insisted they couldn’t adjust the price bc it was booked through a third party.

The location, the staff and the breakfast
The fact that they advertised an indoor pool and hot tub. The indoor pool was cold and the hot tub had been removed. We stayed here for a "staycation" for spring break and were really disappointed in not being able to swim and soak as we had planned.

The area was very nice.
Furniture showing significant wear and the tv's were small screen and old. Our bed wasn't comfortable and sank in the middle.

Consistent quality. Friendly personnel.
I stay here ususally 3 times a year. 2 stays ago, I forgot 3 shirts, called and was told they would hold them. I told them it would be almost 3 months. They said that they would be there waiting. When I returned in October, I was told after 60 days, everything goes in the trash. I almost did not come back.

The breakfast was good.
They ran out of hot food at about 8am and we waited hoping they would bring more. I’m sure they did, but we couldn’t stay and wait due to our travel schedule.
We purposefully wanted to stay in a room with a jetted tub. The room was nice but we had to move b/c the tub was missing jet parts. Same thing happened in the 2nd room we moved into. The staff did great work to get the tub working. Just a suggestion that when the room is checked, the tubs also be checked to ensure all is good.

The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We love the spa tub . The night host was very nice and helpful. There was a mix-up on my room, and I was upset, but Jahannah made everything right.
The only thing I didn't like was that there was no turkey meat for breakfast. Everyone didn't eat pork
