Price was perfect for 1 n8ght stay

convenient location, clean, quiet

would rather have soap than body wash

The location was very central but you had to drive just about everywhere reasonably. The room was better than we expected and very spacious.

The walls were very thin and we had noisy neighbors at early morning hours and not a very wide variety of breakfast options

pool maintenance was very helpful got me a lounge chair to use in yard cause pool was closed waiting on health department

staff outstanding

It was very quiet

my tv in the room was not working

the bed was comfortable and the room was a good size.

the fitness center needs upgrades

Location was spot on, near the UNCW campus and centrally located.

Poor communication. Upon check-in, were greeted with (not, hello...welcome...etc.) just "jenkins, ok, your card is denied". So I proceeded to say, no, there's plenty of funds to cover the amount of the stay for our 1 night. After a couple of minutes of not understanding WHY, it was then told to us that the "total amount" emailed to us by booking.com was actually NOT the amount they were expecting (hence the denied card). This hotel imposes an incidental fee, SURPRISE! Once I transferred, we were all set. The problem is, this is horrible. What if we were a family that didn't plan for and didn't have the funds for this unexpected fee upon arrival? She then proceeded to walk around and point to a placard on the counter and this was their way of letting customers know about this charge, with no advance warning whatsoever. How in the world are we to see this policy/additional charge when booking online, LoL? Not professional at all. No apologies for the miscommunication (or lack of communication). The clerk kept blaming it on "booking with a 3rd party". Very unprofessional and embarrassing, with no attempt to make a bad situation a positive experience.
