De kamer was ruim en netjes de faciliteiten waren goed.

Bij aankomst was onze boeking niet te vinden. Het duurde dus even voordat we naar onze kamer konden. De medewerkster van de receptie was erg onpersoonlijk. Dit kwam wellicht doordat er iets niet klopte in het systeem. Maar toch. Het lag niet aan ons, en toch kreeg ik een gevoel dat ze ons niet vertouwde of zo.. heel vervelend. Je betaalt usd 348 usd, en daar mag je wel wat vriendelijk voor ontvangen worden. De prijzen daar zijn zowiezo extreem.. dus prijs kwaliteit... vond ik het veel te duur. Nu in een hele grote loft in LA en we betalen voor 3 dagen ietsje meer..

We have 2 teen age kids, so stayed in the 2 queens and sofa bed which was called a suite. It was the largest room we've stayed in our trip (4 other places) Our room and hall looked recently remodeled. THe grounds were beautiful and the pool was so nice.=perfect temperature.

The breakfast selection was minimal so the second day we opted for Starbucks across the street. You cant really walk anywhere but the location was good for us because we were between the UC Campus and downtown. Easy to drive to beach and everywhere.

Love the pond, pool and spa areas with all the plants, turtles, koi fish and birds. It's peaceful and calming.

Neighbors down a few rooms slamming doors and talking loudly in hallways.

We had a wonderful start at this hotel, starting with an early check-in that allowed us to settle in without any delays. The grounds were beautifully maintained, and the kids had a blast feeding the ducks right outside our room with the complimentary duck food provided by the hotel. It was such a joy to watch them having so much fun in a picturesque setting. Breakfast was a solid continental spread with plenty of choices to satisfy everyone in our family. From fresh pancakes to fresh fruit, there was something for everyone, which made mornings pleasant and stress-free. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely return for another family getaway.

We checked into the hotel a bit early, which was a nice start. However, things took a turn when we went out for dinner and came back to find a group of people lingering outside our room. As I tried to enter, my key card wouldn't work. So, I headed down to the front desk to sort it out. When I got to the office, one of the people who had been outside my door was there, visibly upset. It turned out that they had been given our room key and had entered our room, only to find our luggage. Thankfully, they were honest folks, and nothing was missing. I'm just relieved that we weren't there at the time—it would have been a frightening experience. The front desk staff quickly corrected the error and apologized by offering me a bottle of wine, which was a kind gesture. While I appreciate the prompt response and the effort to make things right, the mix-up with the room key was quite alarming. I hope the hotel addresses these security concerns to prevent similar incidents in the future. It’s crucial that guests feel safe and secure during their stay.

No storage space. Carpet smelled of old baked in smoke

Staff!!! Attentive, friendly, helpful! Enough parking, felt safe with doors that lock to get to rooms. No noisy occupants or freeway noise. Breakfast area clean and managed. Good coffee. Several choices.

Heater was loud. It was during a spring storm and cold outside. The heater worked, but was noisy.

Too pricy with no on location restaurant and no hot eggs no fitness centre on-site.

Stayed in several similar 3 star hotels in the area and this one is the best. Good service, lovely koi pond & garden setting, rooms have balcony/patio, quiet area. I recommend spending a little more to get an updated room.
