Beautiful location close to beach and across from beautiful lake.

The room , although had an antique motif, is in need of a facelift. Some items were rusty and the bed boards creaked. There were broken decorations in the hallways . Additionally, if you happen to get a room on the top floor be prepared to carry you luggage up multiple flights of steep steps. It also took the front desk over an hour to address a concern we were having.

Our room was beautiful, comfortable and decorated perfectly. There's a lot of places to eat nearby, the town is just beautiful. We were extremely happy with our stay and will be back!! Thank you so much for the hospitality.

There really isn't anything we didn't like. I guess the shower head could be better? I wish I knew where the ice machine was. There aren't really any downsides. I really had to think to come up with something.

Location is great and we go to Spring Lake beach in the summer a few times a month throughout the summer.

The room was is disappointing and the coach with a cover was dirty. We have eaten at the adjoining restaurant several times over the years which very good. We also always wanted to stay at the Hewitt Wellington but cost in the summer anywhere in the Jersey shore is very high. So we wanted to check it out off season when prices are a little bit more reasonable. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our room and put a little damper on Valentine Day. Also in addition to being disappointed with the room, their continental breakfast has very few selections was and no good and had to eat breakfast after we checked out. We will not be recommending the Hewitt to any of our friends in the future.

We loved our stay. We loved the town and walking to the beach. We would definitely stay at the Hewlett Washington again if in the area. The staff was also so nice.

Lovely hotel, beautiful porches, quiet and very nice rooms. Across from the lake and very close to the beach.

Quiet, scenic location. Room nicely decorated. Refrigerator a plus. Breakfast was full continental.

Due to Fall temperatures, would have been nice to have a had a throw blanket on the couch. An area program guide with restaurant recommendations and other things to do and see would have been helpful.
