Bed was okay.

Room was old section over the Waterpark. There was a lot of construction in this section and our Room was dusty as if no one had stayed in it for some time. No elevator access to our floor, we had to drag luggage up the stairs. No cover on the exhaust fan and it was very dirty with cobwebs hanging out. Disappoint because of the price.

2 suites with 2 doors that separated the bedrooms. The sauna was nice. The hotel was across the street from the ferry to Mackinac Island.

The pool was dirty and had too much chlorine. The furniture was old and broken. The pull out sofa was extremely uncomfortable for my 7 year old grandson. He said he felt only springs. The ice and vending machine location wasn't in the same hotel. The lifeguard in the waterpark did not have a uniform. Continental breakfast wasn't provided.

The room could have been cleaned better before we got there! There was some kind of rodent in our room! When we got up on Tuesday morning and I was getting my clothes out of my suitcase, I found a bit of honey candy chewed half way through! Very upsetting! We spoke with front desk, they sent maintenance up. He put 3 traps in out in our room. We were advised that the manager was not available. We went about our plans and called back to hotel to check and see why manager had not called us and he told us he didn’t get the message??? We agreed that we would speak with him when we got back from our tour. He told us he was there til 8. When we got back we spoke with him and he told us the maintenance person told him he saw the rodent and it was a chipmunk? We told him that we didn’t agree with that and we wanted something to be credited to our bill. He advised that management told him that they couldn’t do that. They would give us a free night at a property they managed up there. We explained that we lived 8 hours away and it was our first time up there and we had no plans to come back since we had already been here. We left it at that and went to our room as my friend was tired and needed to lay down. I called your customer service line and spoke to Kholee C and he took my complaint and put me on hold several times and told me that he would be contacting upper management on this issue since I was a Genius level 2 member and I would get a response on the app or an email and have gotten either! The next day Wednesday, we had plans to go over to mackinaw island for the day and I was getting my backpack ready and discovered another piece of candy coming out of a side pocket that was not there the day before chewed opened!!!!! We called front desk, something, manager wasn’t there and we had a ferry to catch over to the island! I did send an email from the app again since we was short on time! Still have not heard anything!

The beds/mattresses and bathroom were clean, and the location was great.

There was a horrible, cheesy, foot-like smell coming from behind the fridge in the kitchenette. Looked like mold or something growing back there. The sheets on the pre-made fold out bed didn't look fresh, and it took an hour to get housekeeping to bring new ones. The carpets are in desperate need of cleaning or replacement.

Always a nice stay. All together a nice place. Also was nice to have parking for my truck and trailer across the street.

Tv in the room didn’t work. Called first night, waited until we couldn’t wait any later. Got fixed the next day. No view out the room, just trees in front of the windows. Game room needs work. No breakfast like in the past.

The room was beautiful and very spacious. Plenty of drawer and cabinet space for those looking for a long stay. The fridge also had a freezer compartment and came with a microwave. The pillows were super soft and the bed was one of the more comfortable hotel beds I've slept on. I always dread hotels because the beds just aren't home but I didn't feel that way here. My son also loved the pull out bed on the couch and basically having his own room. The couch is in a separate room from the queen and king bed portion. Because breakfast isn't served anymore we got buy one get one free coupons that saved us $20 on breakfast. The water park was also amazing.

The room was very stuffy and humid when we got there. It took a bit for the room to cool down. The deadbolt would not lock. The placement where the deadbolt locks in was not done correctly. Outside the room there was trash laid in the hallways and bags of dirty linens at 11 pm at night. Not a big deal but it was still there the next morning around 10:30am. The site conditions in the hallway had pieces hanging off that were broken. Drywall by the hallway windows were also busted. There were parts of the hotel that looked to have been being worked on so I'm sure it's a work in progress. Definitely none of this would keep us from coming back.

Nothing. I was charged for a 2 day stay prior to arrival. Using the credit card used to reserve via the booking.com website. This room was not advertised as a pre-pay room. Normal hotels require a credit card upon check in that gets charged once you arrive at check in. This was a huge issue because I wanted to reduce my stay length by one night. But they had already charged for both nights earlier in the day and refused a refund of a night I had no intention of using. I was told to contact booking.com to resolve the refund for the night I did not use or need. Booking.com was useless and responded that there was nothing they could do. DO NOT BOOK here. And do NOT use booking.com. Their customer service is a joke and apparently the company condones this unethical practice.

Extremely dirty. No staff available. Numerous dogs allowed in the “pet free” facility. None of the outer doors were secured. Construction mess and lacking in appropriate safety exits for the 4th floor rooms. And the above mentioned unethical charges to my credit card for a night I did not need or want. Charged PRIOR to check in despite not being advertised as a pre-pay stay.

It was very run-down and old. The pool was not impressive. Everything was dirty and not well maintained. The staff was not very helpful and pretty slow. We never did find breakfast the day we left, and never saw an outdoor pool like the ad claimed.

Location was good

Parking is shared with another property next door. Main pool outside was under repair and filling with hose. Didn’t get to use the pool. We booked 2 rooms. Our room suite with 2 bedrooms one AC unit didn’t cool the room. The other room we had there was construction going on that you had to walk by to get to room. No cleaning was done while our stay. Had to take the trash out and get new towels each day. The pictures on line are not representative of the property maybe when new.

The location was the only good thing about this hotel

It was so bad we did not stay the night. We decided to take our children and go somewhere else. The hotel is in a horrible state of disrepair. We had to go to the hotel next door to check in. the furniture in the room was very old and broken. Our towels in our room were wet for some reason. looked like just the basic was done but definitely needed a deep clean. not sure if the sheets were washed. the wallpaper was falling off the walls. very confusing layout to locate the pool. The hallway to the pool was so hot it felt like a sauna and it had hundreds of dead bugs laying in the hallway. The pool/Water park was so disappointing and disgusting and NOTHING like the pictures. The pool water did not have any cleaning chemicals in it and was actually a yellowish colour. the pool itself is stained a yellowish/orange. my youngest child stepped on a cigarette butt on the pool deck (and this is inside). The bare minimum of cleanliness. The whole pool/water park/hot tub area smelled like moldy wet towels and stagnant water. the entire 3 hours we were there was very subpar. I would rate this a 0 if I could. very unhappy, will never return. not that we asked, but we were told we would not be refunded.

We had to check in at a different hotel. The hotel was freezing. The plumbing wasn't working, and we had to drive back to the other hotel to get help. Housekeeping never came, so we had to go get towels at a different property.

the pool guy that was supposed to be watching people was sleeping on the job older kids climbing all over the place with no supervision, instead of getting stuff floating out of the water park he made the guest do it. The bed was rock hard and not comfortable but my kids had a blast.

I paid for a jacuzzi room and the jacuzzi was broken. Half of the bathroom wall was torn out.

It was a nice location. Close to downtown shops and restaurants that were open.

The room was out dated and dirty. It was like the floors hadn't been vacuumed I'm a very long time.
