close to the beach

needs updating!

The views and being on the island of Maui. The location next to the other resort complexes in Wailea was a desirable option. To be honest the quality and amenities of unit 508 Polo Beach where very disappointing.

Unit 508 at Polo Beach appeared to be very, very dated. It was almost like it this unit hadn't been updated except for possibly kitchen and washing machine & dryer appliances in more than fifteen years. It also was extremely lacking in beach items unlike the thoughtful and enjoyable items included in Kihei unit we also vacation in during this visit.

Location Location Location! Beachfront and swimming with turtles! Nice sized apartment with everything you need. Million dollar view!

Water pressure in shower was low- took forever to get out all the sand.

You couldn’t ask for a better location

Awesome experience here. We spent two nights in a different, more expensive hotel as well and we liked that one half as much as we liked Polo Beach Club. The ocean view room was gorgeous and had a great view!

We have been visiting this property regularly for about 30 years, so it's alwaysa bit like coming home.

A change of towels and bed sheets.

The open glass doors to the patio and ocean breeze made the entire stay. The patio opened out to the ocean view and beach.

Interior pictures of the unit are not of the actual unit. There is a written disclaimer that units are individually owned and thus the finishes and furniture will be different. However, the webpage uses pics of a really nice interior, which sets an expectation of what you are paying for. Our unit was clean and well maintained but the furniture choices and design were not as nice as the webpage. It’d be better to have interior pictures of each Polo Beach Club unit that is can be rented. That will manage renter’s expectations. And, I may pay more for a unit with finishes (furniture, paint, counters) I like better.
