Nasty, bad neighborhood, people hanging out in parking lot smoking dope, smoking dope in and on balcony, drug use , very nasty, room door wouldn't lock properly, room was very bad condition, staff was rude ! I wouldn't let my dogs stay in this facility then they refused to give me my money back literally argued with me about everything very unprofessional as well. DEA agent needs to cruise that parking lot area for sure!

Room smelled of cigarettes, cigarette burns on sheets

I took a shower and the floor towels picked up all the dirt

Nothing! This place is the worst

I have stayed at well over a hundred hotels in several countries and this is without a doubt the worst hotel experience I have ever had. It is in an unsafe area next door to an old hotel condemned from a fire, with homeless people hanging around. The staff is utterly incompetent and unprofessional. They don't have the room I booked available and can't figure out what rooms are ready. They check me into one room that hadn't been cleaned yet and then another that was under construction. I tell them to just cancel my reservation. I find out weeks later that after promising me a refund, that they no longer plan to refund my money. The general manager doesn't even care enough about their customers to respond to emails. Don't make my mistake, be sure to read all the bad reviews before booking.

Difficult to find, difficult to get to, people hanging around, creepy. We will never book there again.

Dirt in corners, drab and dingy. TV didn't work. In need of redecoration and repair. Outside, room access was really not acceptable. This location was no complement for Booking.

I was surprised to learn they had a gym. The treadmill was good but INCREADIBLY loud. I could barely hear my music even though it was playing at max volume.

The room was filthy. It looked as if it wasn't cleaned. There were ROACHES. The room had a filthy smell. It was so dirty, I decided to use my air mattress instead.

No OJ for breakfast. Lol

Nice new room,quiet.Lots of things to do! Just off I-85.Great price.

Walking distance to a breakfast restaurant. Good location in the city of Gastonia.

The motel is more rundown than the photos show.

This is a roach motel. Literally. There were roaches in our room. And one random ant. Hair in the bathroom, the comforter had stains on it, the door had been kicked in, I assume, as it was warped and the slide chain was completely gone. A female who had the look of a meth monkey was hanging out in the lobby in a bathrobe, yelling at her poor toddler that was running around with a broom. Sketchy people hanging out in the parking lot, and staircases. Oh, and the breakfast did not exist. They had pictures of waffles on the walls, in an area that was clearly for breakfast. However, when we came down at 8:15 there wasn't so much as coffee available. And the employees were yelling at each other. If we had not have been so exhausted when we arrived we would have left. It was awful.
