I enjoy staying at this place every time. I come in mostly because the people there always remember me. And that makes a big difference to me. I feel like part of their family.

I can't think of one thing that I disliked, They do everything possible to get you everything that you request. I guess the only thing I could say to make it better. Would b if they could figure out a way to make the temperature outside a little more comfortable everyday

It was farther away from the venue than we thought. Booking.com made it seem like it was really close since it was the first one that popped up. There was no whirl pool and the pool itself was cloudy looking so we didn't swim.

There were stains on the carpet, walls, curtains etc needs renovation!

Breakfast was not very good and was served " cold ".

We liked nothing about this location of Country Inn and Suites --- so we checked out very early the next day to seek better accommodations.

Dealing with a third party "booking" was causing issues when I was trying to check in. they were trying to make me pay twice when I already paid through booking but the staff got it together.. but the smell in the hallway was horrible it was unbearable it smelled like someone took a crap in the hallway and the same smell was there in the morning.. for the price I paid I expected a lot better also the bed was very uncomfortable..

The room was SO humid —-the air conditioning was not working properly in our room (the thermostat read 80) and the hallways were much more uncomfortable. And this was during the hottest days of the year in the Chicagoland area

toilet was child size. extremely painful for me with arthritis is legs and back. ants in bathroom. Not a lot but enough to notice. I advised managent in the morning. they were planning on taking care of it.

Nothing at all the hotel smelled like old mop water and cigarettes.

The hotel had a smell. The staff that checked us in double charged me for my stay. I paid cash for the room and my card was still charged.

The location

Big pot holes in the parking lot. Elevator floor dirty and not cleaned for 2 days. Bed and pillows uncomfortable and the smoke alarm on the ceiling directly over the bed was continuously flashing and was disturbing. Towels were not full bath towels and were like sandpaper. Absolutely ridiculous. Even though it is in a convenient location for us, we will never stay there again.

The hotel staff made the visit very unpleasant. I booked and paid for 5 rooms through Booking.com 2 weeks prior to arrival. I was advised upon arrival that the 3rd party site Booking.com, forwarded funds for only 4 of the 5 rooms, and that I would have to pay for the remaining room, even though I provided proof that I paid for all rooms via Booking.com. I was advised to contact Booking.COM for a refund, once i refused, the staff advised they would work-around the funds issue and gave me the keys for all 5 rooms. Two days later while looking at my credit card account, the hotel charged my credit card for one of the rooms. I contacted the hotel and threatened a lawsuit as my credit card was charged without my knowledge or consent. After a protracted and heated discussion with the manager, the charge was removed from the account.

The staff were friendly and the place was clean. We stayed there for a week. Their free breakfast was pretty good and it changed during the week which was nice.
