Lovely view of manhatten . Great size room . Tv in the room . Shower was great. Breakfast was good but really busy . Fruit juices tea coffee cereal and porridge sachets. Fresh fruit yogurts eggs and sausage patties breads and waffles as well as croissants. Not too far from a subway station . Next door but 1 to a pub and across from dunkin donuts . It's basic but cheap . We felt safe and it had everything we needed . Would deffo. Go back

I'm very thankful with the service and attention. Being my first trip to NY, all questions made by chat or phone were answered, and even helped me with a check-in issue on the place. I might expect a slight better option for breakfast (hard bagels, weird eggs), but attention, cleanliness, and the rooms were all great. I reserved as a place to sleep only, so I can't talk much about extra services, for me it was a great and confortable place to sleep and breakfast.

The fact that they relocated me

I was at the airport going through customs when I received an email that the hotel was fully booked and they could not accommodate us anymore. We had just landed and were still at the airport! I was lucky the airport had wifi. They told me that I should contact Booking.com to relocate me. I messaged back that it was their problem, not mine and that they should relocate me. When I arrived at the hotel they in fact had relocated us to a hotel 1 km further. We had to walk with our suitcases that way in the evening after a long flight and after the stress they put us in. I did not get any compensation whatsoever. It turned out that City council had instructed the hotel to put up immigrants immediately and so the hotel was suddenly closed to the public...

It was great, until it wasn't. Two nights in we were informed that everyone needs to check out the next day because the city is going to use the hotel as a homeless shelter. This is despite us having paid for 4 nights. We are still waiting for a refund for the rest of the money. They would also not book us alternative accommodation. Terrible. We will never stay at a La Quinta ever again.

The room was comfortable

The only thing I liked in the hotel was Maria working in the kitchen, who always smiled at you and greeted you warmly. In general, I have been to many hotels and I have never seen such carelessness as I saw there.

They treated us very undeservedly, I made a reservation for 5 people, my wife and 3 children, we arrived very tired, we didn't even have the head to talk, we traveled for 16 hours by plane, they let us into 1 small room, we had paid for two rooms, when the next day we asked for an answer why they treated us like this, only the amount for one room They returned it I would advise the hotel manager to either retrain the employees or take care of the hotel normally. We should not do this with three young children!!!!!
