Very hold hotel No Bell Boy service when I arrived at the hotel at 10:30pm Room was very small Bathroom was small

very nice and pretty hotel. I love old architecture and this was very nice.

I am a diabetic and disabled and I was very surprised to be told by staff that the vendor machine had no diet drinks for such a nice hotel. my stay was brief and late at night and I had to walk 5 blocks to and from to a get a soft drink late at night. I think I would mention to the management to suggest no sugar items. it won’t affect a future stay tho.

when we ordered room service they didn’t let my wife add or replace some items so they made order two separate plates. Plus a ceiling fan came loose on shower ceiling and hit my head I asked if management can come check it and no one ever came, I asked if it was safe for my wife to shower but also no one ever came. I was never asked if they can do anything for us, if I was ok, nothing they just let me check out inconvenienced and hurt from my head I had a small lump on my head. I was very disappointed on how they handled the situation I was just told that there was no management or maintenance on site. I spent over $1000 for both rooms very sad that I was treated like nothing.

Nice rooms, helpful personnel, marvelous lobby. I used a fitness center - it was to have it in the hotel.

we went to San Jose from LA to see Depeche Mode. they played at the SAP around the corner and left in the morning. for out needs perfect. amazing beds I never slept so well. we go t a small room for one night only as well as the ladies. hey we are seniors still traveling to see our favorite bands

The bed/mattress was great. The pillows were to long and somewhat stiff. The top sheet/cover was quite uncomfortable and ridged. The Staff was very friendly and efficient.

Loved the location and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Loved the atmosphere of the hotel. Very old classy.

We were visiting San Jose State University and it was close to the campus. The rooms were comfortable.

I could hear our neighbors conversations. I would have preferred a hotel that had a better ability of sound deafening between rooms.

It was clean. Staff was great. Good location.

An industrial alarm or machine noice that would go off in interval's. Limited restaurant accessibility.
