Good location and price. The pool was ok for a swim. Location was near where we wanted to explore.
The room smelled musty. The AC was very noisy. Motel clients were noisy hanging outside they rooms.

The bed was obviously divine! It was very much like a vintage 60’s motel and it was super quiet.
There was lamp that didn’t work. It was just kind of oldish looking, but I didn’t mind because the value was FANTASTIC!!!

Everything! Including the fact that no staff was onsite at all for the designated check in time! We left and found a different hotel, I sent 2 messages to John Edwards motel and received no response at all, but they still charged my card for a room even though no one was there and the office was locked.

Complete bad experience that lasted 10 minutes.
I was scheduled for a 7pm arrival, upon arrival t 9.20pm I was advised a room would be prepared. The reception was filthy and almost derelict looking, with mattresses, boxes and other items.... very strange indeed. I quickly left and had to go in search of accommodation. Brookings.com should not promote this business.

what went well? nothing. time to check in. there was a matress n box spring in the office. they werernt organize. to check out there was no one there to hand in the key. had to put the key on the counter.
where do i start. nasty. the room good size. requested a king size ending getting queen. problems with the tv. no microwave. if i wanted one she would have gone to get one fromm another room. had a funky smell, the cabinet where the frig was ,was falling apart. we had no amenities in our room. had to ask for towels, we use the same ones twice. the room in front of ours kids were screaming. from night time to early in the morning had to put the tv on. beds didnt match. this place neans to be guttered each room head to toe. takes out the rugs.will we stop there again most likely not. the pool was great though.

The pool could have been ready, and we never stayed here. We spoke with the worker and I am supposed to get my full amount of money back. Haven’t received that yet.

i liked the friendliness of the one staff member i met, very cool dude and very helpful. the bed was comfy and the cleaning staff left extra towels of different sorts
the bugs crawling around the room, broken furniture and electronics such as the dresser and TV, “sanitized” bathroom with a bathtub thats starting to rot, and the overall uncomfortable feeling of the place was unsettling.

Nothing. Sorry but this place was disgusting. Smashed nightstand ( took pictures) Missing nobs on drawers, Bed was gross. People in the parking lot looked like they just got out of prison.

No employees when we arrived
A volunteer gave us a key to an open room
When checking out, nobody was there to take the key lol
Sink was clogged and windows would not open
Police frequently circle the lot which made us feel safer lol

No breakfast the bed was comfortable, no drinking glasses in the room, we had to ask for toilet papers

Awful!!!! Drug people live in the motel I think. Scary and frightening to stay here.

Everything! The room was small. The chairs were filthy. The floor was filthy and smelled. The soap wasn’t big enough to wash your hands with. The bed had a dip in it. The sheets were stained so we asked the gentleman to change the sheets. Pillowcases were also stained. We didn’t have any face cloths. The neighbors were very loud until 1130 or 12 at night fighting and slamming doors. There was no place to put your suitcases. There were no glasses in the bathroom. Sink was way too small. There were no hangers. I guess you really get what you pay for!!!

Staff, and mattress was Comfey.
Staff was very nice. The pillowcase was all stained.the blanket stunk. And the heat took forever to warm the room.the shower curtains was ripedand the shelf over the sink was falling off.

Everything, The room was nasty codweds in every corner stains on the walls. The bathroom floor was soggy like it was rotting. No hooks to hang anything no shelf to put anything on in bathroom. Outlet hanging iut of the wall.
