Great location)

Cosy and welcoming, lovely bright rooms with character. But the best thing was the breakfast, which is SO good! Best food we’ve had the entire trip and we’ve been eating out everyday!

The staff was very nice and kind. Breakfast was good and fresh.

We got a very small room for 3 adults, there was no place to put the luggage. Bath room without any room to put things, poor maintenence, cobwebs in many places. The heating system made noise.

Good location with quick access to Smugglers Notch Park. Old building with character (but very wonky with few spots of no floor or wall straight levels). Parking on site.

Breakfast was mediocre: no buffet which I would expect, but few options to choose from daily and portions were rather small. To explain, we could choose three items out of these: 1. 2 eggs (choice of scrambled or sunny side), 2. bagel with cream cheese, 3. 2 toasts, 4. 3 (small) pancakes with maple syrup 5. Bacon/ turkey sausage (2 small pieces provided) 6. Sandwich with fillings but if decided on sandwich this counted as two items. 7. Bowl of yogurt with granola (small bowl !) 8. Bowl of fruit (also very small) We ended up adding our own sandwiches as heading for a day of hiking, such a breakfast was definitely not enough (and I do not usually complain about food portions). Bathroom was small with no shelves to put toiletries on so these pilled up on a window seal.

The room we had was very small, it did not have any temperature controls in our room and no visible air conditioner. The pillows were too soft for us. Water Temperature in the bathroom shower was difficult at times to control. If you are looking for lots of modern conveniences keep looking.

The breakfast was good. The bed comfortable. The shower was nice and warm with water pressure. The town was cute.

There was a big bug in the bathroom floor! The stairwells could use some cleaning.
