The staff was very friendly. The pool was available. Breakfast was good.

It felt old and a little run down. Most hotels have streaming ability so you can sign in to Netflix or Hulu. This just had cable. The TV was small. The coffee maker was in a drawer. The sink was dirty.

Andy the front desk man was wonderful. He helped us get a ride to the venue where our concert was, which was great because we did not know the area.

The air condition had a tick to it. Not a huge deal, but it woke me up during the night a couple times.

Bad location, sketchy activity in parking lot, very few cars at hotel

The only good thing about our stay was the fact that there weren't any bed bugs.

No elevator (was not aware of this prior) when I asked if we could have a room on the 1st floor since I had my elderly mother with I was completely ignored. I asked several times, and the man working wouldn't even look at me. The railing on the stairwell had about an inch of dirt/dust. Opening the door to our room, we were met with the overwhelming smell of wet dog (even though I had to sign a paper saying no pets. The shower was filthy (hair everywhere), and the towels didn't look much better. Needless to say, we didn't attempt the breakfast. We used the room to sleep and checked out right away in the morning.

My husband always sleeps very well and insists on staying here when we are in Mankato.

Staff was unfriendly to the point of being rude. The hot tub was also out of order for the majority of my stay with no compensation or apology when I inquired about it. Conveniently it was fixed the day I checked out.
