Service but issue with room allocation and amount issue

I think it was the best breakfast I've had traveling

When we first arrived to the hotel the Lady at the front desk had an “I don’t care” attitude when she finally showed up to allow us and the other 3 groups of people to check in. We all waited there for around 15-20 minutes to finally check in. The room when we walked in had a roach in it and just felt dirty. We had issues with the tv and I called the front desk and I repeatedly had to repeat myself since the phones in the room had horrible connection to the front desk. When the front desk lady finally understood was able to hear that the tv was having connection issues she said “I don’t know, call the tv company”. We were in our room for probably 15 mins until we decided enough was enough and when to a different hotel. When we went downstairs to check out and get our money back the front desk lady said we couldn’t get our money back. I understand maybe keeping our deposit but to charge me for a full night even when I explained all of the issues we had was absolutely absurd. I asked her for corporates number and she immediately said “I don’t know” in a very rude tone and didn’t make any kind of effort to Attempt to figure out corporates number. Extremely disappointing and horrible experience all around.

Hotel is fine

I booked 3 rooms for group who were our guests , and the staff was very rude with them as the payment card was having some issues.

The room was large and very clean, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Hot breakfast was basic, but nice to have.

Holiday Inn breakfasts are pretty standard, so there isn't much room for error. However it would have been nice if they replaced the coffee creamer more often. Both pump bottles were empty.

Location was excellent

Bathroom bathtub needs to be removed and flat floor installed.

the pillows are not what was offered in the past. your head suck down to the bottom. The sheets felt like microfiber and not cotton.

Breakfast, high standards

The receptionist at the desk was brief and not helping. I asked extra blanket she said they do not have. She gave additional two sheets, but seemed too busy. There were crumbs on the sofa when you remove the pillows to open the bed, and one pair of socks from previous visits. The toilet flush ran the whole time, it is leaking.

I was suppose to have a microwave in my room but I didn't have a microwave so it mad it harder in costly with 4 kids

We did not have breakfast. We have family locally that we met with for breakfast.

There were no negatives.
