The location was great. Although 2 miles from town, it was across the street from a park which led to beach access. You could see the waves coming in to shore from your window. And the room had a wonderful gas fireplace that was nice to cozy up to after a walk on the beach on a windy day.

The reservation could have been completely ruined if the staff was not on the ball. Booking.com did not send date changes to the property so they had to scramble. The spa whirlpool is most excellent and the room is very comfortable . Wifi is good and the TV has many channels Perfect location to explore North Oregon. Thanks!

I suggest booking directly with the property. Booking.com does not give them important information and you will not have to worry about the accommodation.

The room is very clean and the balcony is a nice touch. The beach is right across the street and there is a pub next door.The spa is very clean and outstanding with plenty of clean towels. The location is perfect for exploring the North Oregon coast.

There is no elevator, so if walking stairs is a deal breaker, ask for a street level room. The wifi is weak, althought there are many tv channels

Lots of amenities (Stove, fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, TV), although we did not use these. Did use the hair dryer which worked well. And the shower worked very well! Shampoo etc. in wall disp's.

Night stand on only one side of the bed. Not enough plugs: only 1 shared with coffee maker and 1 shared with hairdryer. The latter plug was loose and needs replacement, but it worked.

The view of the ocean was very good. It was close to the beach

An affordable spot at the south end of Cannon Beach. It's not directly on the ocean, but the rooms have a view of the sea, and the sand is a one-minute walk away. There is a small indoor pool and hottub, both of which were immaculate and comfortable.

Not much, the place was as-advertised.

We have stayed at this property many times. We have never stayed in the bottom floor. We didn’t like the bottom floor. when we asked to be moved to a higher floor, we were told that we would have to pay $300 more. so, we chose to keep put. the room was very, very small and difficult to move around. very basic room. The chairs on the deck were in very bad shape. I was afraid they would brake when I sat in them. the room, however was very clean and we appreciated this. The staff were extremely nice and we appreciated this too.

I have been staying at The Wayside for years. The rooms are always clean. They cater to our furry family members. The staff remembers who we are everytime. There's never been a stay there that there was any problems with checking in or with the room.

The mattress in the usual room I stay in is getting a bit tired. Would love to have a more comfortable bed for my next stay

The staff made everything so quick and easy. We had a 3rd story balcony views of the ocean across the street. They had everything to make my family feel at home. When we visit cannon beach we will be back (:

25+ minute walk from the main downtown area of cannon beach where most of the restaurants and bars are.

We liked the balcony and view of the ocean. The fireplace was also very nice.
