The room was clean but shabby

We loved the location. Even with construction in the area, we could easily walk to downtown Decatur & the MARTA station, & were close by family in the area. There is a lovely, well- maintained graveyard next to the hotel, along with a large park, so we could go take walks in the pretty settings.

We had no complaints, honestly. It's a motel, rather than a hotel, but we knew that and were expecting it (rooms opening to the outside are always going to be noisier than if they open on a quiet hallway, for example). It was perfect for us, and we'll definitely stay there again.

It is a motel, so outside noise readily heard. The air conditioning unit was very loud and turned on and off frequently. The room temp would go from quite warm to very cold. I hope the filters in it are cleaned frequently as it blew into the room very forcefully.

Everything was ok

I like the room. It was spacious but the bathroom was not very clean.

Front desk person could’ve been more friendly. He was short, and rude with his answers. I’ve never has a front desk person talk to me the way he did. I’ve never been told I could not sit in the lobby and was told to leave the lobby, I was a paying customer not someone off the street.

Host was very nice and communicative. As a contractor i have items shipped to the hotel . Each day the desk clerk called to say they arrived.

it was smelly and you didn‘t want to touch the carpet without shoes. There was no breakfast! And the manager was unfriendly, even rude. He did NOT say „hello“ or „welcome“, all he said was „ID!“. Of all the hotels during our two week road trip, this was the worst one!
