Convenient location, within easy walking distance to downtown and breakfast included
Our first room was right next to a Coca Cola machine tha sounded like a lawnmover and an ice machine which kept up clattering noises at odd times during the night. We stood it for two nights and the requested a moveto a quieter room, which the hotel did without fuss, but they forgot to tell us that the new room which wasn't notably different was costing an additional US$50 per night.

We had a very large room which made it very comfortable because we had a lot of luggage to deal with. The beds were comfortable. The shower was relaxing.
Breakfast was a little lacking do to remodeling work on the kitchen. But we didn't go away hungry.

the Bedsheets were filthy, th housekeeping literally seemed to refuse to clean- the breakfast was cold and not worth the 16$ you pay. McDonald's would have been better. Only bright spot was manager April who tried to fix the issue, but her employees simply were not cooperative.
April was polite, helpful and understood the issue, she did her best to try to make it right but her employees just were not up to doing their jobs.

I had made my reservation two moths in advance. They couldn’t find it and tell me go to somewhere else. They didn’t even help me to find another place, since it was there fault because i had the reservation. Horrible experience, i don’t recommend it at all, that’s not how you’re supposed to treat people.

The friendly staff, the comfortable beds and the room itself, free parking, the laundry room, the gift store in the lobby, the breakfast, close to city center and the opportunity to dine in the hotel.
the breakfast was great and tasted delicious, but it was almost the same every day. more variety for the breakfast (toast, bagel, creek cheese, jam, yogurts) would be great!

Staff did upgrade us to a beautiful room after some issues.
Hotel has an old section and newer section The old section is very old with old mattreses and bathrooms. The newer section is not brand new but alot nicer than the old.

Very comfortable bed. Older outdated fixtures in the bath. AC worked great and was needed in the afternoon with direct sun on the window.

In room 114 the shower has a soap dish up high near the front side. Strange location. My husband and I each bumped our heads on it while shampooing our hair during our showers.
I told the from desk about it, so hopefully it will be looked at.

Not clean enough and the room is too small. Facilities were too old, just like built long long ago.

There was a guest who got too drunk I’m assuming and was outside my door for a half hour yelling racial slurs. It was extremely uncomfortable, especially being a black woman, and I felt like the staff took their time to get the situation under control even after calling down to the front desk twice to report the incident.

The hotel is clean and the room is spacious. It has a nice location. The rate is acceptable. The continental breakfast is great!
There is no shuttle bus between the hotel and the airport or the train station. So we had to take a Uber or Lyft. It was a long wait for the transmit after we arrived at the train station.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of privacy in a big spacious comfortable room full of sustainable options. There was absolutely nothing bad I could say about this hotel and would 100% use it again if I came to Alaska
