There is no elevators , we was on the 2nd floor and had to carry my 5yr old upstairs because we couldn’t get her wheelchair to the stairs.

The location of this motel is excellent. It is easy to find, and is within walking distance of some restaurants.

Our suite was pretty clean, and we felt very comfortable and at home. This has always been one of my favorite places to stay in Topeka because we do feel safe and at home. The staff is so friendly and makes you feel like you are home away from home. Many have been there for YEARS, so you feel a sense of belonging when you stay. New management seems to be keeping up with that feel along with beautiful new renovations that have made the property even more enjoyable. Beds are comfortable and all amenities have been in working order for us with the exception of the jacuzzi. Breakfast is hot and has good variety!

Price is still a little high, in my opinion, keeps us from staying more frequently. Your keys stop working right at 11, so if you get a late checkout, be careful or you'll get locked out of your room and have to walk all the way around the building to the front desk like I did.

Bathroom was a little run down, lighting over sink area not bright enough for putting in contacts or makeup, For the one night stay....exensive.

Spacious room. Bed was good, but not great. Staff responded to issues quickly when informed. Breakfast was good.

Tub was cracked and needed repair. Maintenance did a good job, but this was not small and apparently not recent problem. No exhaust fan in bathroom, just a spot where it should be. Contributes to mold/mildew build-up quickly. Rooms only cleaned/serviced if you request it for each day in advance. Leaving the Do Not Disturb sign off is not enough. Should be informed of this upon check-in. Two times in ten days a guest smoked weed in a room/hall etc of the nonsmoking portion of the hotel. Management took action each time, but in the interim my wife ended up in urgent care. (She is allergic to weed smoke. )

Very comfortable King bed, nice little kitchenette in King Suite. Breakfast was hot and hearty, and hospitality/serving staff were incredibly pleasant, efficient, and friendly. AC works well.

Some of the lamps in the suite didn't work, even when i tried using different outlets, and the bulb filaments were intact.
