The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, the amenities are really great , we particularly enjoyed the hot tubs. The restaurant has really good food.
The questions we asked had very approximate answers ( for example why did we got two different amount debited on our cards, where was the key drop box when leaving the parking lot…).
Not many options for breakfast.

The three hot tubs down by the creek, the saltwater lap pool that is heated, great hiking right out the back door, and a phenomenal hotel with great views are things we like the most about the Westin riverfront

Absolutely beautiful! So clean, so well-maintained. We loved everything about it! The exercise facility was top-notch! I wish I could have utilized it more! From special pieces of equipment, to spacious rooms, to indoor and outdoor classes, this was no “hotel gym.”
The staff was fabulous, from front desk to valet to cleaning. Just a wonderful Vibe throughout! Super Clean, well-appointed rooms; I’m a psycho when it comes to clean hotel rooms. I felt totally comfortable here. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the area. Can’t wait to return!
Nothing!

Sheets were worn out and torn. Mattress was on its last days as well and totally worn out.
Would expect a better view during off season that is not overlooking the valet guys.
Resort fee was suppose to be waived during business stays and wasn’t. Would have expected more for the amount of money paid for the night.

The Westin is a beautiful hotel. The atmosphere is lively but relaxing. There are several fireplaces giving the lobby and outdoor spaces a cozy touch. We upgraded to the penthouse suite as we were a bit disappointed in the room we were first given. The penthouse was truly the highlight of our trip. It was like having a home away from home. The nearly 360 view from the top floor was breathtaking. The room had a massive office/closet, a full kitchen and TWO full bathrooms. The staff was lovely- special shout-out to Chase, Laura, Solange & Verni the taxi driver for going above and beyond for us. The location was GREAT- several restaurants and even a grocery store within walking distance (less than 15 minute walk.) Transport into beaver creek was quick and convenient. There is a gondola on property that takes you up to a ski lift, it’s a fun, free experience that I can imagine children would love. *Bring a swimsuit! There is a lovely hot tub on property!
We originally booked a king room which was unavailable when we arrived. They gave us a double queen room with an “upgrade” to the Mountain View which we didn’t love- it was really small and once our luggage was in the room it was a bit hard to move around. The biggest disappointment for us was probably the food at Stoke & Rye. The reviews raved about how wonderful the food is but we found it rather flavorless. It was actually so bad, we ended up going to the City Market afterwards to purchase groceries and make our own food. We visited 2 other restaurants in the area which we also found to be disappointing so maybe we just have a different palette. Something to note, the provided transportation is weather permitting so be mindful before you leave the hotel. If the weather changes and transport is unable to come back to the area- you will have to call your own taxi (which is extremely expensive.) On the topic of taxis, the taxi service that partners with the Westin is EXTREMELY expensive. It was $140 from the Eagle-Vail airport to the Westin and $130 from the Westin back to the airport. Uber shows the price to and from the airport as $50 each way though we ended up not choosing Uber after several hotel employees told us that Ubers are known to cancel rides to the airport. We spoke to several other people including Uber drivers and they didn’t seem to think that cancellations were that common but we decided to take the staffs advice as we were afraid to miss our flights home (there is only one delta flight out a day so we would have been stuck overnight.) Use your own discretion or if calling an Uber, give yourself SEVERAL hours as a buffer in the event that they do cancel. We felt they were insisting in order to push more business to their taxi partner but that was simply a feeling and we could very well be wrong.

The breakfast was amazing! The staff and concerige were so very helpful!

Property was nice, check in staff were on point and professional
The person that answers the general phone number and attempts to get one transferred to Reservations was marginal as was Reservations. I then contacted a third party for reservations. then after further consideration, I called direct to Westin Riverfront desk, and I was disconnected three times? When I finally was able to leave a message for Reservations, no one called me back until the next day. Frustrated, I booked another property in the Vail valley for our 2nd night.
Then, we got to our room to oversee a construction site? Will we stay here in the future, doubt it.

Food and staff were amazing! The spa and gym were also great!
Nothing! We loved everything!

Pool/hot tubs on the river were really lovely. we walked the river path multiple times. Loved how welcome my dog was as well. The lobby and new restaurant were super lovely. The food was good at Stoke & Rye (get the smoked oysters!), but not quite worth the three star Michelin prices. I will say the best thing is the fact that the Rocky Mountain Taco truck parks outside everyday. I will dream about that breakfast burrito for a long time. The hotel coffee shop was just too short staffed for a quick bite or decent coffee. The 1br suite is very large and had a lovely view.
Everything closes at 9. Room service is extremely limited after then. There’s only a hole in the wall sports bar open in the whole town that serves food after then, so if you have kids you pretty much have to starve. it’s wild to me they wouldn’t have a later bar or place to eat available for guests. The staff was working so hard, but it was so clear they were severely short staffed and overworked. Room service never came by during our 4 days. Beds were very comfortable, but the decor/furniture were very “corporate hotel” in quality.

After we complained the manager upgraded our room and everything was fine. Staff was very helpful

room was very big and nice the view was absolutely great.
the morning we ate breakfast it was horrible. we waited 45 minutes to get our food- when i got my food it was cold, my hash browns were in a pool of oil the bacon was so under cooked. the coffee was warm at best. when they said they would remake my food - we were waiting and looked on the floor there were chips and crumbs from the night before :(
normally it's really good this time not.

So for half the price of the room came a surprise $150 pet fee!
Totally ridiculous and greedy ! Will not be supporting their greed . I saw my invoice with the fee , called and they said it’s a new rule at their dog friendly hotel . Screw the new rules and their surprise fee ! Won’t be back !
I’ve stayed here at last 5 times and never been charged for my small well trained pet . They are obviously hurting for money if the think that’s ok , won’t be back if that’s their ridiculous fee.

I have stayed at this resort before. Came back because is was such a pleasant experience the 1st time. This trip was a little less pleasant due to the loudness and lack of ability to use the facilities due to the lacrosse kids that were everywhere.
A lacrosse tournament was being held at the time we stayed there. Kids were very loud and unattended throughout the hotel. This includes the lobby/bar area, the hallways, and left very little access to the pool and hot tubs desired for a relaxing weekend. Facilities were difficult to use due to the loudness and lack of control of the lacrosse kids everywhere. It would have been better to have known that this would be the case so I could schedule a different, more quiet weekend.
