Owners were decent people.

The rooms were dirty with cobwebs in the windows, stains on the sheets and pillows, floors were sticky, walls were dirty as well. The tvs desperately need to be updated and the remote was chewed on. The fire alarm also wasn’t working as the batteries were taken out. Walls are thin. Some dude kept starting up his truck just to rev the engine for no reason too. The room smelled horribly like cigarettes even though I asked for a non-smoker room. I wish I had a choice to leave but I had already paid and Clearlake is small. If you want a decent experience in a hotel, then you should not stay here.

It was an ok location based on our needs. Bathroom seemed remodeled and was clean.

Room and furniture were old. Walls and ceiling were very thin. Lots of road noise and noise from other guests.

Fans had weeks/months of dust build up that I had to clean off in order to just feel decent. Sketchy characters all over the property at all times of night/morning. The smell in the room was gross. Pillows and towels had large stains. The best part of this place is the parking lot and that’s only cause there’s a view of the lake. I’d say just about any other place nearby would be a better choice.

It was a very basic room that was basically clean.

I had to get up and leave before morning because the perfume smell in the room was so strong I was suffocating. The pool advertised in the picture was completely drained. The staff greet you through a window, instead of an office. And they have no customer service skills. When I return to the room from visiting a friend at 9:30 PM there was dodgy guy riding his bike around Who started questioning me about my stay as I rushed up the stairs, on a bad knee, to get into my room as he had gotten off his bike to walk up the stairs to keep talking to me. It was very disturbing. Also I could not find The hotel name and the Wi-Fi connection options. I had to call the front desk, and they acted like I was wrong because I couldn’t find it on the list. They had me go through a local hotel and use their password. I will not be staying here again. (I would add a photo of the drain the pool, but I’m leaving in the middle of the night so I cannot.)

The overall atmosphere of the motel was depressing. When we arrived, we had to talk into a dirty night box and was not given any instructions about Wifi or other amenities. There were many rundown cars in the oil-stained parking lot with men repairing vehicles and a woman screaming obscenities outside our door. The floor in our room was unlevel and felt as though there was only a thin layer of unclean linoleum covering a dirt floor. The second bedroom was a hot box of cinder blocks with no air conditioning that made it uninhabitable. The toilet rocked and overflowed into our room. Maid service was non-existent. For two days we asked for toilet paper and fresh towels and did not receive any replacements until the third day, which were old and stained. The online motel photos showed two accessible piers for fishing but upon inspection, they were block off and dilapidated. The swimming pool was closed but a stench like cow manure coming from the lake was so powerful and unpleasant that there was no way one could stay outside long enough to swim! The owner of the motel was accommodating and apologetic but he seemed overwhelmed with the task of maintaining the facility.

I have stayed here a few times. This time was so loud, ppl sitting outside our room at all hours. I usually stay alone but my husband was with me this time and even I was quite taken back on the changes with how noisy it was. We did not complain but I probably will not stay again It was my fave place to stay

The smell of the lake the fact that we had to wait a half hour while they clean the room then they gave us the bum rush in the morning a lot of tweakers hanging out in the parking lot
