Hair in the bath tub, water in bathroom sink wouldn't drain out, Looked like blood spots stained on bedding,Breakfast was O.K.

Where do I start.

Location was amazing next to everything.

There was hair on the bedsheets that didn't belong to us and the pool was not open.

Rooms were very spacious.

It was clean and comfortable, and an ideal midway point between Boston MA and Niagra, Ontario. We were given vouchers for a free drink each at a lovely Italian restaurant nearby (Tavolo).

They had a problem with the checking in system where we were charged twice for our room but this was rectified within a few days.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and as we had stayed there for a night a few days previously on the way to Niagra Falls we had liked it then so decided to stay again on the way back to Harrison, NY.

We were again charged twice for our room and the receptionist apologised that there was a fault in the system and assured us that the additional charge would be removed. We stayed on the ground floor this time and it was annoying to hear water constantly rushing through the pipes from the upper floor.

It is in the middle of the city.

Every surface of the room was dusty. The floor was not vacuumed. There were dirty washcloths left in the shower. I has to ask house keeping for clean items and this specific person said " I didn't clean that room, it was someone else's to clean" .

didn’t find out the pool was out of service until check in but staff called the hotel next door and they let us use their pool.

The staff was friendly but seemed overwhelmed. The members of management seemed to talk down to the staff.

The pool was broke and the GM made it seem like all the properties in the area had broken pools due to temps. We chose to stay at that hotel specifically for the pool and our son was extremely disappointed. We requested an early check in, our room was not ready until after the main check in time. We were late to our event. When we finally made it to our room, food was left in the fridge, coffee pods left in the kureg, dust on the furniture and the clocks had not been changed even though it had happened the weekend before our stay.

the lady who checked us in took over an hour to check us in. she seemed very flustered. she did not have a clue about the check in process and had to call her manager on the phone several times for help.

Location was good. Breakfast was good.

No shampoo, hair dryer broke.

Selection of food was better than expected/ Seating was comfortable

The breakfast was good and plentiful. There was enough space for everyone to eat and enjoy themselves.

The pool was out of order and we chose this hotel specifically for the pool. The front desk man told us it was out of order for a month and that we should have known that. He was rude. The next front desk person said it was only out since thursday. She was nice. In addition, there was a group of hockey players running around and we had to tell them to stop multiple times. Also, I was told to call the general manager, Nicole, and she never called me back. Also the drain did not drain and they did give us a small $20 discount for the inconvenience.
