The pool was nice, the bathroom was updated and clean. Bed was comfortable.
It smelled old school. Carpets were old and dated This place is dated with dirty carpets and a TV from the 2000's. The thermostat is run via a remote control and not a wall thermostat. Breakfast was not buffet style like other hotels for the same price. It cost 10$ for breakfast and limited to a small limited over valued menu.

Finish remodeling the rooms. Bathrooms were updated but king room Furniture way big for room

Location was good, close to the beaches and shops, and a short drive to the heart of San Diego. Seems like the hotel was recently upgraded and the room and bathroom were nice.
The pool wasn't heated. Also the bed was hard.

The location was perfect for us. I loved the historic feel of the hotel. The room was beautiful and clean. The property is over 100 years old and wonderfully maintained. Staff is polite and helpful. Gorgeous bathroom!!!

1 day the maid missed cleaning our room (I was working in the room until after 1:00 PM & had the "Do Not Disturb" sign on my door.)

I did not eat breakfast there. I liked the quiet location and how close it was to the little shops and the busier part of Del Mar down by the plaza.
Loved everything. Many different outside seating areas. Cold when I was there. Would love to come back in warmer weather. (Hot water in bathroom sink didn’t turn on with much pressure.)

EVERYTHING!! This was a wonderful hotel/stay. The staff was amazing; friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I was able to check in early and check out a little late. AND I was given an upgrade to a different room. 😊 That was very much appreciated!! The parking was no problem, plenty of spaces, and they don't charge for parking like most hotels do nowadays. The room was very clean, as was the whole hotel. The view from my third-floor room was amazing! I will definitely stay here again, and have already booked another stay for my visit in October. I'm so very happy I found this hotel. 😊
