In the morning, there were 20-30 baby spiders in the bathtub that seemed to hatch overnight!

Room was nice, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was really good.
The hotel was advertised as having an outdoor pool. We were excited to swim after a long day at Cedar Point. Unfortunately, when we got there the hotel informed us that they actually didn't have a pool and weren't sure why internet was still posting that they did. I would have picked a different hotel if I would have known this.

Breakfast and friendliness of all staff that we interacted with.
Cleanliness - Carpet and bathroom floor needs cleaned. My wife got her feet damp and walked on floor, when she stood on the bathmat in bathroom the white mat showed dirty footprints. The furniture needs cleaning (also behind and under furniture needs cleaned. Suggest room by room deep cleaning on a periodic basis.

The room wasn't very clean. There was dirt along the baseboards and hair in the bathroom.

The room itself was nicer than I expected and the staff was very nice. I also really liked that the room had a microwave and a refrigerator.
It was a little over priced. Especially since it was a motel but still cheaper than basically everything else in the area.

no notice of the place bein closed till we drove two hours to read a note on the door tellin us to drive to another hotel where at first they couldn’t find our booking

I got to my room late after a day at Cedar Point. Got the kids tucked into bed and the room was cold so I turned on the register. It immediately smelled like the room was on fire, within 30 seconds the smoke alarm was going off. I turned off the register and opened the door to air it out. Called the front desk. They offered for us to pack up and move rooms but 3 kids were already in bed and trying to sleep at this point. Kids wanted to stay put. So we slept in room without heat, but it didn’t get too cold that night so it was fine. On checkout the Front desk apologized and stated I would receive a partial refund for my troubles. I was billed full price for the room and never received any discount.

Last night we didn't have any hot water, when I tried to call the front desk, the phone didn't work.

The staff was absolutely amazing. The young lady that checked us in was very friendly and helpful, and when our hotel room had cold water she was very responsive and helped get it fixed for us.
The young man who checked us out the next morning was also very friendly, lively, & positive. So appreciated the customer service.
The shower had mold in it, the shower did not have hot water (at first - maintenance came later), breakfast did not have many healthy options.
