Location
The floors were covered with some sort of oily substance on both the wood floors and bathroom tiles. I nearly fell and had to use a couple of towels to wipe away the substance … didn’t remove all of it. Brought it up to person as we were checking out. She shrugged her shoulders and made some comment about some of the unusual guests that haves stayed there in the past.
Also, despite making it clear that we had a pet and were expecting a king size bed, the hotel had us down for a handicapped room and eventually had us in two full beds which were in pet friendly rooms. The blamed the issue on Booking.

Staff was absolutely amazing. Rooms were very clean and it was just a mile and a half walk from downtown. Starbucks on the same property was definitely a plus. Pool was clean and not very crowded. Breakfast was hot and pretty well stocked every morning. Really enjoyed our stay.
The elevator on the far end was wonky but was then put out of order so at least it was closed so no one would get stuck. So very glad of how attentive they are with things like that. Only other note that I would have is that maybe they should have a little more variety with breakfast as it gets kinda boring with long stays.

Literally nothing. Do not stay here.
I had a very terrifying experience here. My room was double-booked and a stranger walked in on me (female traveling alone) in my room in the middle of the night. Staff couldn't care less, barely apologized for the mistake, and I had to fight very hard for a very measly partial refund. I had booked two nights but cut my vacation short as I was not comfortable staying there.

Our room was behind the stairwell. So not only was it dark during the day people were getting ice from the ice maker and the light for the ice maker shone over the top of the blackout curtains

Breakfast dire as most American cheap hotels are. Brianna the receptionist was excellent, so helpful and lovely I was really impressed by her help in printing map for me of the area as I like to walk. She is definitely an asset to the brand.
Few dodgy looking people hanging around. Slight smell of the room. Adjoining rooms felt little wary been single female and just lock between each. Loads rubbish strewn around by guest outside the bin. God love cleaning crew. Was to stay another night and decided not to. It's a worn hotel with nice staff.

It was easy to check in and get to me room. The front staff was friendly and efficient.
The parking situation is a little off and the shower in my room didn't drain well.

It was just minutes from Parris island
Hot elevator no air flow in it and when it’s in the 90’s + outside that was horrible and the only other part I would love to suggest is the breakfast be able to be served earlier on Thursday and Friday for the family’s getting up and out the door by 5 am and nothing is open to eat that early on the way to the base.

The bed is rock hard and my back hurt so much. Also there were definitely some shady people and some shady stuff going on here.

Rooms very outdated. Walls very, very thin, heard constant noise and conversations of other guests. Room door had gap to outside. Did not feel safe or comfortable whole stay due to security and comfort lacking.
For cost of room the above should not be issues.
