Good hotel nice staff

The night we checked in the woman behind the desk was so nice!!

The air conditioner didn’t work in the room, we watched drug deals in the parking lot, the tweaker who was staying in the same floor as us had everyone scared, and I’m highly disappointed the hot tub didn’t work. The floors looked like they hadn’t been swept in months. I feel like the staff could have totally paid attention more. The poor guy behind the desk the second day was even scared.

staff was unhelpful. air conditioner made loud noises so you couldn’t run it after they fixed it when it didn’t run at all. how can you run out of coffee?

The TV and remote didn't sync. No one on staff seemed to have any idea how to fix the problem. There wasn't enough lighting near entrance and closet.

Our room was in front of the elevator and the door wasn’t sealed so you heard everyone in the hall and elevator. not a well rested weekend.

The staff, except for the very sweet cleaning lady who was running the vacuum. We were informed that there were "no blankets clean" so we had to go buy a blanket for my child to use at Walmart, along with three flat sheets were were given. We reserved a king room with a pull out couch. Perhaps it was my downfall to assume there would be bedding for all beds. The hot tub was not working. There were used needles in the parking lot. There were no coffee cups at breakfast on Easter morning. The horrid woman who was answering phones and working the desk yelled at me because I hung up after it rang 10 times, also on Easter morning.

I would not eat breakfast after I saw the lack of cleanliness throughout the building. I'm sorry.

I chose this hotel so that I could spend time with my family swimming and so that I could continue training in the gym. To my surprise, I arrived and they told me all were closed for maintenance. Several times they told me the maintenance crew was arriving to fix the hot tub at 5am and that is why the pool and gym were both closed. That really did not make sense considering the gym is a separate room, but on top of that... I ran the hallways and stairs from 5am to 7am and not a single maintenance person showed up. Several times I asked if I could just use the gym since nobody had arrived yet and I was told no. When we arrived, there was mud clumps throughout all hallways, elevator, stairs, and the room like nobody had vacuumed at all. I had to clean the bathroom tub because that had mud in it as well. I chose to use the stairs after using the elevator one time because it rattled and made loud noises as it moved to the 2nd floor. On top of that, there was not a single floor in the hotel that did not smell like marijuana. You could not escape it AT ALL. It was disgusting.

BED BUGS. DIRECTLY FROM THIS LOCATION. I work for a reputable 2nd hand chain in upper management and I have never (with my naked eye)seen a BED BUG. If necessary, we follow protocol and clean the facility and move on. This is not a a procedural issue.. this is a 'when I tell you that the front desk employee was eaiting and spitting out bites of food while I'm saying to you that your hotel is essentially a pile of trash right now......' You get it.

They've charged me for the first night which as we all know, puts a hold on my coins. So now I'm at a MUCH CLEANER BETTER RUN PROPERLY HIILTON FOR THE STAY Location much further away than my original destination....so, more gas mileage, eating, etc. I am BEYOND FUMING as a single mother who receives LITTLE TO NO ADDITIONAL COINAGE to raise my young 10 year old son and believe me when I say he has no other role model in his life, than to waste grappling with Corporate America fighting for $130 to make my life just a smidgen easier...you get it. Do not stay at the Comfort Inn in Weirton WV for any amount of money. Please. So that at least I won't waste time MY TIME and energy being IRRATE at this dumb dirty place. K? J.Tennant

Location was good, was clean and comfort table. The receptionists when we checked in and out were friendly.

I went down for the free breakfast at 8:45am and it was all cleaned up. Their was bananas in a bowl. at 8:45AM, how crazy is that?!

It was clean, the room smelled a little like new paint and furniture but that didn’t bother me much. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The staff was very prompt and nice.

The only things I can point out are that the jacuzzi jets didn’t work, and the price was a little more than what I wanted to pay. But honestly it’s worth it to stay in a clean and quiet place.
