The place is right on the main street in Alpine, very easy to get to and there is a gas station very close to it. The facility looks like it's been updated recently so it had some conveniences like USB outlets and a good micro-fridge, the shower had reasonable pressure and enough hot water with no sudden changes in temperature, and the toilet flush also worked very well. The free breakfast had hot items like scrambled eggs and sausages, which honestly is better than we expected in such a small town with a remote location. Overall, we had a pleasant stay for 2 nights with nothing really to complain about.

Hotel did not inform us of “boil water” notice that week; no elevator; also cleaning staff entered our room without knocking, right after we entered; tv did not turn on with remote; we had to disconnect then reconnect from wall each time we used it; although I am a dog lover, I did not bring my pets, I would suggest a set of rooms away from other guests who did not bring pets (room across from us had dog that barked at everyone who walked down the hall)

no elevator… my husband and myself both have bad joints and back and it wasvery hard on us to go up and down. the mattresses were VERY hard and uncomfortable. Made our backs hurt to almost the point of not being able to move.
