Grungy. Terrible parking lot. No food nearby. Filthy carpets. Dated. Cheap perfume odor

Did not know before booking pool was closed for renovations

We booked this only because it was close to the fairgrounds.

Upon entering the property, the parking lot was a disaster of trucks, trailers, cars, motorcycles, random equipment - nothing parked in a straight line. The trailers werent even attached to vehicles and had clearly been there for a long period of time. Looked like a junk yard. Broken glass at the entry. No parking available. Had to press a phone locator and waited for staff for quite some time. The pool area... I don't even know what was going on in there. Tools, equipment, bicycles, green water... I'm not even sure if it was open or not but I wouldn't let my dog in that water let alone my children. The smell of the building was absolutely disgusting. The room had an entire other deathly smell. I've never felt more unsafe, and dirty, and afraid to even leave my room, as we did in this motel.

Location in a sketchy area. Broken glass and cigarette butts all over the parking lot. Staff unprofessional. Construction stuff all over that guests had to walk through. Room appeared decent at first glance but weird smell. Mattresses had evidence of bed bugs. Pool was so murky you couldn’t see to the bottom. We got the heck out of there and found somewhere else to stay.

It was a nice accommodation just for what i needed. Price good rooms were clean and nice.

The room size was top of the line with plenty of space to spare which was beneficial since we had a short-notice add-on of a dog. The receptionist when we arrived was helpful in getting everything squared away quickly as we arrived at 130am. Additionally, I had accidentally booked 2 rooms and he was able to correct the error.

I reserved the hotel based on the it having a pool/hot tub and a continental breakfast available. Upon arrival, we discovered that the pool area was not open and there was various construction items stored in there. At the check-in counter there was a sign stating that breakfast was not available.
