Great Place to stay in the heart of all the Austin action, amazing staff and super cool vibe, from the rooms to the pool and the food options on sight were awesome. I would stay here again and again!

The location is fantastic and the kitchy vibe is fun. The bed was extremely comfortable.

The location was perfect! In South Congress, and so close to a lot of nice restaurants and shops, but still lowkey enough that you’re not hearing all the noise when trying to sleep like on East 6th st. Also, we found the South Congress area is a lot cleaner, no homeless people lurking around, but still a quick drive to the capital/6th st area. The staff was lovely and even gave us a complimentary room upgrade. We had a car, so the free parking was a huge plus as most hotels were charging $50-$60 a day to park; but there were bicycles and electric scooters a few feet from the hotel. Only stayed two nights so didn’t get to use it, but the pool area looked nice as well. The motel decor is really cute and retro, but it is a motel afterall so some of the finishes especially the bathroom still feel dated, although relatively pretty clean.

This wasn’t a major deal breaker for us, but if you’re assigned a room on the second floor keep in mind you have to bring up your luggage up two flights of stairs. If you have heavy luggage or kids, it might be worth requesting a room on the lower level or in the courtyard area (which is cuter).

The shower was extremely slippery and the shower faucet was very loose. Needed more places to hang towels etc. too expensive but we also booked on game day weekend by mistake

The location was great, close to downtown and south congress. Nice pool area also. The room was clean and comfortable.

Location is excellent. Pool is really good fun with a bar. Retro feel is a nice touch. On site parking in such a congested area is worth the high cost of the room

No housekeeping - we are mostly free from COVID restrictions now - should be included for the price of the room.

Staff were fantastic and the vibe was great. Pool was lovely, merchandise was cool.

I know it's a motel, not a hotel, but the room wasn't great. It's in desperate need of renovation. The bathroom basin was hanging off the wall, and there were cracks everywhere. We plugged up a 2 inch hole in the skirting board with toilet paper because pretty large bugs kept crawling in. The AC unit was aggressively loud at night. Not what I'd expect for the price.

Wonderful setting and I could bring my dog for a reasonable fee.

Front desk clerk was a bit curt and short with us at checking in but the place itself made up for it. Awesome pool and activities
