It was close to everything I needed. The view was right on the lake and the person at the front desk was very nice and helpful. He even gave me free ice cream.

It needs a little renovation.

Location was great, right on the lake and also a pool to use. Staff were available and welcoming. Housekeeping was excellent. Room was comfortable, just enough for us two. Area and hotel itself was quiet. Breakfast and coffee was nice.

I got the staff was very friendly open to suggestions and what I needed they provided and I also like your location

I did not like my first room!My coffee could have been a little bit stronger, but other than that I thank you for my stay and I thank you for paying attention to anything I asked for (as a heart patient I'm very appreciative thank you ) Also I believe the price could have been a little cheaper,especially for senior citizens returning to Port Clinton, that grew up there and went to school there.Lifelong residents.Thanks stay safe. The next question you ask is did the property meet my expectations that answer will be yes and no but I'm good the manager and the staff made up for what I was expecting and for them I am grateful 🥲 THANKS

it was right on the water,

the day we checked in the wind was 24 mph could not really get out and do anything outside, the bed was not comfortable at all felt like I had a spring in my side, the pillows were size of a throw pillow and hard, had spider webs with big spiders in every corner and did not have a good breakfast,

The room, overall was kinda clean.

The "breakfast bar" was a joke. The owner- manager sets out their cheap, sugary " breakfast" very early and walk away. Nothing is restocked so eventhough they claim breakfast is between certain times, it's not. Once its gone, it's gone. Poor quality breakfast selection. No elevator,,,so if your on the 2nd floor,, your carrying everything up a narrow staircase. Bugs everywhere! Check the hallways and stairways. Webs and bugs everywhere. The pool was rather dirty and unkept. The owner- manager had to come to my room twice (once a day, during my stay) asking about my credit card info because he couldn't understand #s ( I think that was the issue bc his English was very poor). He was nice but every day, had to ask about my card's expiration date.. the parking lot is dark at night,, no or very little lighting.

We were treated very well by our clerk. She up graded our room to one with a jacuzzi. It was our 34th anniversary. We had a wonderful time.

Unfortunately a group of people was load between 12:18 - 1:00. The addendant ask them to quiet down. They left the hotel the next day. That night was a wonderful evening

It had a musty smell And the breakfast was not good.

They charged us for an extra day and blamed booking com. Booking com did nothing. Had to file fraud charges on the hotel. Done with this site and hotel!!!

The pool was nice and looked out on the bay. Our room was very clean. Walking distance to restaurants.

The doors into the hotel are left open all night long so security is lacking and the parking lot has very little lighting. More safety and security measures are needed .

Breakfast had waffles and coffee

Room was not at all as described on booking.com. not "quadruple with balcony", it was not big enough for occupancy listed, had no balcony, was by noisy stairs, and we were overcharged $ 30 abive hotel rate. Trash by pool, outside door didn't have a lock, carpet smelled musty, room wasn't clean, tv channels minimal, and staff rude, and charged for service dog even though we showed proof. Had to wait hours outside for worst and cheapest room and argued with me publically over room that I booked. Had to wait to get reimbursement for pet fee, and never was reimbursed for receiving a room that would have been 30 dollars cheaper, and was not at all big enough, comfortable for my family Staff rude and unaccomidating for bookin.con misleading price and room discription falsehood. Worst online booking ever. Worst customer service ever from both booking.con and Clinton inn. Highly disappointing. Suspect a con between Clinton Inn and booking.con. telling everyone to avoid your website.
