Yosemite Plaisance, located in Mariposa, is ideally located for trips to Yosemite NP. It is situated in a quiet area of town and we had regular visits from the local deer population during our stay. Car parking was provided adjacent to our accommodation.
A delicious breakfast provided each morning by Helene, outside under a cloudless sky. A perfect way to start our day. In addition, Helene some additional "goodies" to take with us on our trips to Yosemite .
Helene was extremely knowledgeable on places to visit and routes to take during our stay
We couldn't fault our stay.
Everything on our stay was ideal and nothing springs to mind that we didn't like. A perfect location.

Friendly and welcoming owners. Great advice given to visit Yosemite - including a lovely breakfast to-go with amazing homemade brownies. Short stroll to town, meaning you can leave your car when going for dinner.
Mattresses on both our beds were very much on the soft side - but that’s a matter of personal taste.

We liked everything! The room was comfortable, spacious and perfectly clean. Great hospitality, helpful tips for visiting Yosemite park, wonderful breakfast and home baked goods to take with us on our hikes. A lovely small play area for kids outside.

The Hotel is located in the secluded residential area of the town, but at the same time, all of the local perks are right around the corner. Some good morning coffee shops, as well as a couple of stores are in very close proximity. Due to the Hotel's location, you are able to enjoy a great, peaceful night sleep, and then immaculate french meals from Helene (the owner). Be ready to feel yourself in a European fairytale every morning you wake up and head to breakfast. Feel free to ask her any questions you have about the area and local facilities. She will be able to assist and give useful advice about the hidden gems of the town and Yosemite National Park, and will kindly pack you home made snacks so that you don't feel hungry during the day. Great hospitality and openhearted attitude will make your stay a great experience.

We loved breakfast outside on the patio listening to Bart play and the snacks prepared for us to take away were a really nice touch. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again.

the only bad thing is that there is no 12 Star valuation on booking.com - the host defines hosting in a whole new way. If you are in Mariposa, look no further

The breakfast was a dream come true, always freshly cooked and a surprise and the room was very comfy. Helen and Ron are extremely nice and helpful, just the perfect hosts !

Helene was the kindest host. Her breakfasts were phenomenal and she kindly packed us snacks for our hikes to Yosemite. 10/10 would recommend and if I ever need a place to stay, this is where I’m booking

Amazing carefully prepared breakfast and Helene even gave us snacks for the road (short bread and brownies). This place felt like visiting an old friend. Very inviting and relaxing.

There are 3 rooms- very clean, updated room, spacious, nice bathroom, fridge, micro. Parking outside door. Nice sitting area outside each room. Walk ability to restaurants. Another outside seating area with heaters for breakfast with social distancing. The owners very helpful & knowledgeable to providing info about Yosemite. They very serious adhering to covid precautions. Hospitality exceptional - owners live on site and cater to your every need. Excellent homemade breakfasts along with fresh baked items to go on your daily outings. You will not be disappointed staying here.

We loved our stay with Hélène and Ron! They are caring, considerate and make the world's best breakfast.
The place is quiet, comfortable and perfectly located for day trips to Yosemite. As a biracial, same-sex coule with a kid, we felt totally welcomed here! Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Our hosts were wonderful. Helene took care of some special dietary needs of my wife and we were totally surprised how wonderful the "to-go" breakfasts were. We got wonderful suggestions on where to eat. The doughnut shop was especially good. Thank goodness for the A/C as it was quite hot when we were there. That is why we got up so early to get into Yosemite.

Super comfy and clean room with private bath in a quiet residential neighborhood home.
Off-street parking with convenient direct access to room. Small refrigerator was appreciated, along with use of a cooler for our day visits to Yosemite.

You feel it as good as at home with your relatives or your own home - every piece of interior, breakfast and hospitality of the owners.

The cuisine (in this case, food is too ordinary a term) was superb. Healthy, beautifully presented and so tasty! Breakfast was the best possible launch to our day. Both host and hostess were kind, considerate and helpful with tips about Yosemite.
We were well aware that the intrusion of world events and the threat of infection cast a shadow over us all. Our hosts made us feel safe and comfortable.
Not having a pandemic would have been nice!
