What a wonderful place! Such a beautiful location and view, I didn't want to leave my porch! Amazing sunsets! Very cozy! Owners were lovely, welcoming and made the stay even more fun!

This is HAWAII. This couple, the dog, the view & the service is awesome. I‘ll recommend it to everyone.

From the first moment to the day we left our visit was exceptional. Comfortable, clean, very friendly hosts and meeting of other guests from around the world. I would stay here every time. Don't bother looking anywhere else this is a gem of a B&B and the breakfasts YUMMY!

It was secluded, with a great ocean view.

The room is large with a big private terrace. The beds are queen size. There is space inside the property for parking the rental car. The wi-fi works great and the owners gives you beaches supply to enjoy the vacation (umbrellas, chairs, board serf, fin, goggles…)….SUPER!

The room has no air conditioning, 1 ceiling fan but it’s too strong for one bed and almost not existing for the other. The mattress are way too soft. The breakfast is home made and varies every day but is limited to what they give you. For example: you get a plate with 1 sunny side egg, 1slice of bacon, 1 and half slice of toasted bread, 1 slice of muffin or croissant (I swear, they slice the muffin!) and a cup of their garden’s fruit. There is no self-service buffet with extra bread, extra sweets, cereals. I mean if you ask for more food the owner gave us an extra slice of muffin but really? it’s not nice to ask for more food do we, with two teenagers boys were forced to buy extra food to fill the gap. Overall, maybe for elders or ladies on a diet the breakfast is good, but was not satisfying for us. Normally when you pick a B&B as accommodation you do it for the rich breakfast! another bad surprise was the absence of the stovetop. we booked this location to be able to cook some pasta with fresh clams some dinner…the owner explained they do not have it anymore for safety reason. This impacted our vacation budget of course, and the restaurants around are crazy expensive!

Emma and Carl could not have been nicer, and they were cautious about offering foods that we might not be able to eat.

Very easy to hear neighbors, so we were careful to whisper or keep voices low. Used our laptop and phone for TV but WiFi was very good.

Wonderful stay - comfortable rooms with great beds, good wifi and parking at a very convenient location. The breakfast was really yummy too Emma makes amazing omelettes, muffins and the fresh fruit was so tasty. We loved our stay!

The Hale Hoola B&B is located south of Kona, in a more rural area, but close enough to easily visit with a car. The three rooms are located on the ground floor, each with a private furnished lanai. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The bathroom had a bathtub/shower combination. There is a public seating area with beach gear, travel information, and a microwave. Dishes and basic cooking utensils and supplies are available. The hosts are very friendly people with much to share about the property and the area. The breakfast is amazing with a fully cooked egg dish, fruit, bread or bagel, and Kona coffee. The price was a real value for the area. We had an excellent stay and would be happy to return.

The views, the hostess, the breakfast, the beach supplies and their dog Rex were absolutely amazing!

Hosts were very accommodating and helpful with local sightseeing and served a great breakfast with local fruit.

This was a comfortable stay with pretty much everything you might need. Homemade breakfast served daily was always delicious. Beds were comfortable and room had its own bathroom. The common room area even had things you might need for beach days (snorkeling gear, towels, chairs, etc.)

Clean, comfortable, great view of the jungle and ocean. Wonderful sounds at night. Fabulous coffee and breakfast. Hosts friendly and knowledgeable. Beautiful national Historic Park nearby.

It is in a laid back setting with abundant wildlife, a comfortable room with a private balcony backing up to a preserve type setting. Breakfast is wonderful something new every day. And the owners are friendly, helpful and provide valuable insight to the islands culture.

The property is not in the thick of an urban development which is comfortable and makes you feel you are in the forest with birds, frogs, geckos etc. If you want concrete and stores this is not for you

I loved the location. It was a beautiful, tropical location. Very comfortable and the breakfasts were great. The hosts were friendly without being all in your vacation.

There was nothing I didn’t like, but it would have been nice to have a slightly larger refrigerator. If I had to say anything critical I would have to go to the fridge… The room was clean and comfortable. And the view from the patio was breathtaking.

Beautiful B&B, extremely relaxing and clean. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts were extremely welcoming. One of the best stays during my two week trip to Hawaii. Highly recommend.

Breakfast exceeds expectations, especially when you get to have it on the deck with amaing view!

Elma and Carl treated us like family and the hot cooked breakfast every morning was delicious and filling!

Some noise from animals outside but it didn’t bother us. Overall it was a great stay!

Carl and Elma were exceptional hosts. From day 1 we felt very welcomed and cared for. There was an incident where the highway nearby was shut down and Carl called us several times to ensure we were updated and that we would be able to make our way back to the B&B. Breakfast each morning was delicious and the view was stunning! The B&B is about 30 minutes from downtown, but is a nice area if you enjoy nature and want to get away from the crowds. A good bonus is their very cute and friendly dog. Highly recommend!

The best breakfast on the Island 😍😋 The owners are very friendly and helpful, the room is nice and comfy, the terrasse is great and the view from the Breakfast balcony gives you a jungle feeling! Definitely recommended!!!!

Clean and functional Elma and Greg were great hosts. The breakfast was amazing and coffee hit the spot. The rooms and the nature sounds really made this place special. Plenty of rental gear.

Well it’s a little small and the walls are thin. But overall I would stay here again.
