Very clean and comfortable room, great location and the manager was very nice and helpful.
The place needs a facelift. The kayaks and bicycles need to be fixed and better maintained.
The young receptionist was clueless and not very welcoming. She wasn’t able to recommend the simplest thing: where / which direction should we cycle..

I like that it was very clean and everything was close by in terms of things to do, restaurants, etc. I enjoyed the water front and the pool, was not crowded at all.

This is no resort. This is a road side motel. The “pool” is tiny and has no deep end so be aware of that.
The first night of our stay we heard a clicking sound all night. Turned out to be a malfunction of their key card system which generates the electricity in the room. We had no idea where this noise was coming from and it kept us up all night. The manager said he would fix it . In the meantime we asked for a refund for the first night, and they argued and bargained with us on the amount. They agreed to 20% off but it turned out they only wanted to give 20% off of the first night and not the total. No apology - no resolution and no fixing of the issue.
Also - when we checked in they asked if we wanted maid service and we said yes. The next morning we reminded front desk of this. Day came and went and no service. When we asked about it they said they could do it at 6pm which was too late as we were resting in the room until dinner.
They had no cleaning wipes or rags in the fitness room and when i asked for some they said they would get something for me. But they didn’t until i asked again.
Have been texting with the manager about the amount of refund and asked to speak with the owner directly. The owner refused. Very disappointing. Not a place I would ever recommend.

The amenities were excellent. Bikes, kayaks , rowboats, fishing dock, clubhouse, the gym, and salt water pool were amazing. They also had a very nice fire pit. The bay was so close to the resort. Also check in was at 4pm, however we asked if we can come in early so we can enjoy the activities; the resort accommodated our request with no issues.
The room we rented needed to be cleaned, especially the bathroom ( bathtub needed cleaning ) We felt bad asking the front desk to contact the cleaning ladies, but it was needed. There was no continental breakfast, also the parking was very tight.

The location is good and being right on the water was nice. The rooms were very clean, the staff was very pleasant, and there were bikes and kayaks available to use at no extra charge.
The rooms were nice and being right on the water is a big plus, but in the future, I think I'd rather stay at a place with more accommodations. The Bayview Resort is basically a motel on the bay, a very nice location but less of a resort in my opinion.

The location is excellent, the rooms are ample and newly decorated. There is a really nice clubhouse that we used for take out and games. The view from the property is amazing and there are kayaks and canoes right there, it could not have been easier. We did not use the beach pass because we have a friend on the beach but heard from others there it was great. There's a very nice new pool. I would go back! It was perfect for our family. Easy access to beaches, all other hamptons towns, the outlet, Riverhead, the north fork (wineries). The staff really went out of their way for us. Perfect!
Wifi was ok for me on my laptop, but others felt it was not that good for their ipads.

The outdoor grounds were to die for! I will definitely be back just bc of the outside
the place is not clean at all. Both comforters were covered in brown dirt, as well as my pillow. I just took them off my bed n used my own from home. Waited until after 3pm the next day for my room to be cleaned. Noone showed up so I called n they came n cleaned.after their "so called" cleaning the two dirt brown comforters were put back on the beds and the brown pillow was back on my bed, so obviously linens do not get washed here. And the coffee and creamers were not refilled, nor was the bathroom cleaned at all during the cleaning
