The property is well located. Walking distance to Limegrove, Massy Supermarket, Chattel Village and restaurants. Easy access to highways, if renting a car, or just for walking and enjoy the West Coast tranquility.
The cleaner, Ms. Janice is very helpful. Instant communication with Wendy, the property manager for any assistance.
Overall we had a good time! Barbados is a fabulous destination which we know very well.

We had a wonderful stay. Clean and comfortable. Conveniently located to nearby beach club pool, beach, restaurants and shops. Lacking some basic supplies (e.g. dish soap, face cloths, hand soap, garbage bags). Good communication with host.

Great relaxing stay at this property close to the beach in Holetown. As advertised. Beach club and pool right across the road from the house, situated in a great spot right on the ocean. Any questions we had were promptly answered by Wendy. The family had a wonderful time.

Amazing location in holetown. Great to have access to the private pool right next to the beach for the properties in the area. It was never too busy while we were there (end of the season / crop over). The rooms all have good air cons units that worked well (despite the extra humid weather!). Ideally the kitchen could benefit from a fan as well, but we didn't use it that much due to all the places around us. The bedrooms and living areas all had fans too which was great, plus the outdoor patio was very useful every day. Great communication with Wendy the owner and Janice who came and did the cleaning and new sheets / towels. Happily stay again!

Brilliant location with very short walk to beach club and beautiful small beach with very few people on it. Accommodation perfect for 6 and fabulous outside dining and lounging area. We did not see manager but Janice very friendly. Would stay again. Thank you . Easy to contact Wendy the owner.

Good stay at property. Villa is more on the traditional side but is good value for money and location was very good - 100m walk to beach club and beach and supermarket a few minutes away.

Fantastic location. Beautiful lanai. A wee bit noisy from local traffic in double bedroom if not using air conditioning! Super location. Wendy very reachable. And Janet was absolutely amazing. A little bit of paradise
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful villa which is accurately described in the listing. Supermarket around the corner and the beach club is fabulous, wonderful pool and sunbeds directly facing the local beach with amazing views, Lovely place to eat too. Some very nice beach bars and local restaurants providing good food and entertainment. Barbados is not cheap to eat out but prices were in keeping with rest of island and we offset eating out by getting the supermarket hot meals on other nights which were very reasonable. Try the ice cream parlour next to beach club, ice reams enormous you only need one scoop!! Wendy the owner was very responsive to emails and a couple of minor issues were promptly dealt with. Janice kept the property immaculately clean and was so jolly, friendly and helpful. We had big villa as 5 of us, however the annexe is wonderful for a couple. Highly recommend this villa and the location will stay here again.

Villa break
I enjoyed he outside patio area and ate out there all the time. I cooked a lot so was grateful that the utensils to cook where adequate. Convenient location for supermarket transport and use of the beach house. We ate there one night and the portions were generous and food a good standard at a reasonable price.

MY STAY IN BARBADOS
The property is nice but could be much better. One air conditioner worked but that too died after 2 days. The owner gave me a studio apt. attached to the villa. It was very nice and the air conditioner worked. However, there was a horrible sewer smell coming from the bathroom. Janice, the housekeeper bleached it, but the smell returned. Should the owner fix the air conditioners so they work properly and get rid of the sewer smell, this would be a nice property. Barbados was very hot and my family had difficulty sleeping at night.

Perfect base for exploring Barbados
Wendy's house is perfect for a family (our kids are 15 and 18), with great facilities, a lovely outdoor area, and easy access to the beach, the beach club, tennis, the supermarket and other amenities in Holetown. Also, Hotetown is the perfect location as a base for exploring Barbados, with almost everything on the island within 30-45 minutes by car. We had a wonderful 10 day stay, and would certainly recommend the house to others.

Home away from home.
We enjoyed our 11 days. The pictures are accurate. The place is very comfortable and spacious. Through the back gate and across the street is the beach club. Great facilities bar, pool, loungers, free wifi and restaurant with the beach a few steps away. We had a minor maintenance issue which was dealt with promptly. Janice the housekeeper came twice a week and was very nice. The only reason I am not giving a 5 star rating is because we cook and eat in a lot and the kitchen equipment was a bit lacking. Overall a fantastic location, easy walk to Massy Supermarket, lots of options to eat out and good shopping. The bus is right outside your door. We would rent here again.

Great location
Me and four other grown up friends went to stay for 13 Nights in Wendy's house, and loved it. I think Holetown is the best town when visiting Barbados, and this house has the perfect location.
The standard is basic, but nice, we spent almost all or time on the patio in the garden. It was nice and clean. The area felt very safe.
Fran greeted us on arrival, and she was so helpful throughout our stay, looking out for us in every way she could and gave brilliant advice on what to see, where to go and where to eat.
From the house, you have walking distance to shops, restaurants, bars, beach club with a nice pool, and the most amazing beaches. We swam with turtles approx 500 m from the house!
The reggaebuses stops right outside and they took us everywhere we wanted to go for next no nothing (1US$). One day we hired a car and drove up to the north point and down to Balsheba on the east coast. Other than that, we just used the buses to move around, and a couple of times a taxi. We did not like the Oistin Fish Fry that everyone suggested, we had gotten used to the tranquil life in Holetown. I think it is busier in the South.
I would not want to stay anywhere else in Barbados, and would love to make it back and rent this house again.

It was a very comfortable house with all the amenities we required.
We had a very enjoyable holiday. Wendy was very welcoming and we were grateful to her for getting our grocery provisions before our arrival. The house is very well situated to help you make the most of all that Holetown has to offer. The beach is just 5 minutes walk away and we appreciated being able to use the Beach Club across the road.
We certainly hope that we will be able to have future holidays in one of Wendy’s lovely apartments.

The facilities provided were a real home from home. Nothing was too much bother.
Many places to eat and to be honest didn't have a bad meal.
We could not recommend this property highly enough. The whole family enjoyed it.
Look forward to going to Barbados again and would definatly stay here.

A wonderful stay in the sun
Friendly relaxed environment. Lovely, large and tastefully furnished house.
Very close to all amenities. The pool and beach literally a few steps away.
The maid service was excellent.
The owner was on hand to give me any advice I needed about the places to see and any other queries I had.

Comfortable, spacious, clean, home from home feel.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Allanha. The location of the property was ideally situated for the beach, swimming pool, restaurants and shops. Even the bus stop was just across the road which provides a very reasonably priced form of transport for those not wishing to hire a car- though that was quite reasonable too.
My apartment was very well appointed, clean, a comfortable bed and spacious. Customer service by the owner was excellent and very helpful re local amenities information.
The lush, well kept tropical gardens were private, well screened and offered shade for those who need it.
I would recommend with confidence these apartments to any of my friends and family knowing they would thoroughly enjoy staying there.

Amazing Stay, Perfect for the Family!
We want to give a special thanks to Wendy and Marc for their hospitality and amount of attention we were given throughout our stay. Any needs we had Marc was there to help us immediately. It was our daughter's wedding and we had family staying with us, the house and property were extremely comfortable! Not to mention the pool access that comes with the rental, Great pool and Amazing Rum Punches!!! The location is in the middle of everything you want to enjoy in Barbados. To show the type of people Wendy and Marc are, my husband left his wedding ring on the property, he thought it was lost for good, only to get a call from Wendy a couple months later letting us know they had found it and soon after mailed it to us. Thank you guys for going thru the trouble. Once again we absolutely recommend you rent here if your visiting Barbados you won't regret it!

Great location desperately needs updating
We arrived on the Sunday in the dark so we were not fully aware of the overall location of the villa, but when we got out in the light the next morning we realised that the location is great, but the place is grubby, everything we touched felt dirty, it's not very well maintained, the garden is very overgrown and the house isn't maintained either, however we just got on with it, we cleaned it up to the best of our ability.
There was no spare towels for us to use while there, only the ones left out for us to use in the bathrooms, and although there is a massive wardrobe in one of the bedrooms you can not use it as it is locked (obviously the owners property is in it) anyway we had very severe rain on the Tuesday after arriving (very heavy rain all day) causing floods on the roads, we were out on this day in Speightstown and couldn't get home due to the buses stoppping, we had lunch and a few drinks then got a taxi home and found that the rain was coming in through the ceiling of 2 of the 3 bedrooms, we immediately rang the maintenance guy who said there was nothing he could do as he wasn't a magician! I complained to the owner who suggested we find somewhere else to stay and gave us a refund, we did lose a day and a half of our holiday finding alternative accommodation due to this inconvenience but I can not fault the owners response, but this could have been avoided as there had been previous leaking as stated in a previous review. (The general cleanliness and look of the property is scruffy) I certainly would not stay here again

House in Need of Repairs
The location is ideal and the house lay out is spacious and functional . However, the owner has not maintained the house and this made for an uncomfortable stay. There were holes in many of the screens so windows could not be opened without bugs coming in and it was hot. The main door handle was fussy and then broke right off. The bedroom ceiling leaked which I only found during a rainstorm in the middle of the night when I was awoken with water coming down on me. In the morning, I checked the rest of the room only to find another leak with a basin already in place so...the leaks were know. The wifi is only available in part of the house, we had to buy a router. The kitchen sink plugs don't work so a basin is in place to wash the dishes, although I needed the basin to catch the water from the leak ! The air conditioning is only in 2 of the 3 bedrooms and not in the rest of the house which was deceiving. Should I go on...? We are in Barbados 1-2 x a year as we have family living there and we will be sure to warn others of this absentee owner.

Great villa in Barbados
My family spent 9 days in this villa. It was perfect for us, 4 adults and 2 kids fit very comfortably. Wendy was a great host and made sure we had everything we need. The villa is in a great location, walking distance to many restaurants and bars in Holetown. Most nights we ate at home on the patio. We rented a car so that we could explore the island and checked out different beaches. The beach across the street from the villa is one of the most beautiful ones in Barbados. It doesn't have a beach chair/umbrella vendor or anyone serving food/drink but it is gorgeous if you need something walking distance. Our kids used the beach club pool as well and that was a very nice perk to have. I highly recommend staying here and we will definitely do that if we visit Barbados again.
